Break in without a single knock #3 All About Readers

in Hive Book Club3 years ago (edited)

A toddler learns how to crawl before he can walk. listens before he speaks.
Therefore, learning is essential before speech and communications in both written and verbal/non-verbal forms.

And a young mind remains young just like a child he is, explores, experiments with a driven curiosity that never runs out of #Aliveness.

All the brilliant minds throughout history are children no matter how much they age. they are lads with elastic minds always subtle to change.

It is remarkably in constant growth, absolute thriving and continuous learning
that is through, Reading

It is the HEAVENS we crave knowing, where one needs to Read "between the clouds" to reach a Gate where A Book is its Keeper.
To never say

Hodor, Hodor! Hodor!

ever again

I shall now speak for myself as a fixed mindset I have spend most of my early twenties.

As soon as I really wanted the change, like a blazing burns to a soul that desires divergence.

I love a non-fictional book , the content that tells about professional and personal growth.
Getting inspired by the Elite, those who have tried and failed countless times, got through many dips, falls quits and rose again.

Those are the ones who saves a person, an unessary struggle and a time span they would easily avoid by learning through their books that tells the story of their lives.

The many honorable names, Dale Carnagie, napolion hill, Daniel goleman,Seth godin, Jala Din al Rumi, philosofies of greeks of zeno and ibn-roched (averroes) ...
My early days as a reader, surely started to be dull, a bit bitter where boredom and quitting were inevitable at first.

I could not continue reading a small paragraph of 8 lines in a row without being bewildered and toss it away in total disappointment.

I think vocab and English as a native language could have helped me alot but lack of proficiency in my English back then was the case of holding me back

It was challenging, hard to comprehend. literally envisioned like a cryptographic formula for me to #POB (proofofbrain) it, and solve it.

But the intension was there, and that what brought me here. To this stage.
Intensions and good strong will, will get anyone in his desirable path

Bibliography, resumes... people's life can be summed up in a single book. his divine and soul is poured within, and the reader gets to stear with a spoon. take a fearles chuck or take on a booze.

For the places though, one likes to read in a dead quite setting.
where the buzzing sound of the thinnest insect's wings can be clearly heard.

That's what measures a good learning place in my opinion.
Although, nature and beautiful landscapes also helps to set a warm and unique flavour to the reading experience.

Anyhow, learning shall not be bound to any circumstance where the will to learn exists and the person is solely devoted to engage with a good book.

The essentials remains the same, a reader needs his present heart and to be channelled by his sight to get access to its knowledge -the book-

Every reader's #UX is basically the same staues he founds himself, in full immerse. from socraties to a 21's century young student as the channels varies, (tablet, phone, VR or sign language, audio-book or Braille system for people who lost their sight)

The means differs but the outcome is one, and forever will be #lern

An absolute void rules the roots (governs) while yourself is floating in a vast universe.

Thank you for reading my entry to the "Community Contest #3 All About Readers" good luck 🎰 for everyone.

Sort:

Language can sometimes be a barrier but only for as long as we allow it to be and you have broken down this barrier and with flying colors two.
I'm still waiting to see an entry into the contest where the writer prefers reading in a noisy environment but since that isn't likely to happen I share your desire for peace and quiet when immersed in my book.

Thank you for your comment.
Actually it's personality thing. I've seen children who sleep in the most loudest of places where noise makes them feel safe and secure.

I think that criteria is for extroverts when growing up

Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, and Daniel Goleman are some of my favourite authors. Their works are just simply amazing and quite frankly practical in their application.

I am impressed with the fact that you conquered the language barrier and you were able to learn from the lives of great authors.

I truly enjoyed how you mirrored a reader's experience to the uniqueness of each reader which brings about learning ultimately.

This is a unique post.
Thank you for sharing @racemlaadhar

Thank you so much ❤️

You are very welcome 😊

Saludos.

Greetings. Reading is often associated with boredom, this dogma was (or is ingrained) in academic spaces. Mandatory reading is pretty unpleasant, and we usually end up abandoning it. Of course, we need extrinsic motivation but, without a doubt, our drive and desire to want to learn is vital.

Yes, absolutely. Thank you for your feedback ❤️

Reading non-fiction books has turned you into a philosopher. You have analyzed every point that a reader gets in contact with in the course of their reading journey. All of it of course leads to one place.... Learning.

I am sorry that not being a native of English had made reading somewhat stressful for you. I am pleased that you overcame all the obstacles, and came forth victorious

In the same vein you have learned a lot from the authors you mentioned. And their life history, challenges, difficulties, and victories has rub off well on you.

Cheers to more life full of learning and discoveries.

Hello Iska, thank you for the lovely words.
And just a philosopher we are all meant to be, free like the wind. explorer of our true nature of being.
The wind is lightweight and airy. but, it can carry gold with its solid structure and density when air elements are condensed and accumulated into "form". whereas, gold is pre-existing into being as a formless matter in every living expression of life.
keep the wanderer in you alive
I have forgotten to mention Ekhart Tolle, he's one of the best authors in our times @iskafan

Glad to learn that you got through the challenge of not being able to comprehend fully because of language. We do learn a lot from reading and probably that's one reason why more and more people are drawn to books because of the things and lessons we get from them.

let's not forget that schools and NBA's were not a match to a library, not before and not ever.Correct @ifarmgirl thank you

knowledge is guaranteed to oneself to have his own stronghold, it is not an ink-stamp for his degree-cards as he walks around as a certified learner with a tilted head.
A Great Wall will set him back mentally and emotionally , because learning is not a curriculum to follow

Aye aye to that @racemlaadhar :) I agree with all you said. And in addition, learning is a continuous process and should not stop. Thanks to books and many other forms of reading materials, we get unfathomable wealth from them. One can never be too learned to stop devouring knowledge :)

I'm more of a fictional reader. I rarely read non-fiction books, but when I read such, I go to Bo Sanchez books.
Well, that was before. Last year, I've started reading them. Now that adulting hits me so hard, I've read a few about leadership, goals, and management. It helps. Not just food for our brain but our soul, too.
I am loving your entry! It's deep and not the typical question-and-answer kind of blog.

Thank you dear, I appreciate your feedback.
Take easy on yourself with the leadership thing.
Everything comes at times.
leaders are readers
But the best teacher is to try. That's how humans learn.
We best need to put in practice what we read

I struggled with reading nonfiction books for a long time, but I was quick to realise that it isn't as bad as I thought. The beauty of it, besides the content, is the language. It builds the reader's, and yours is no exception.

I like your entry. All the best.

I love how you creatively talk about your love for reading books, really unique and cool.

You listed a lot of authors and I must say they are new to me even though I've read some books, I'm checking some of them out soon.

Nice entry, all the best in the contest dear

Thank you I appreciate it <3

I love how deep this is and how you explain things, it makes me want to read more from you.

Been trying to read more non-fiction because I use to read mostly fictional and it's a bit hard because I love disappearing into a book and non-fiction makes it hard.

Sure, novels are great and the writer knows how to hook 🪝 his Readers very well and induces emotions and adrenaline rush, dopamine ect..
One at a time that makes it very interesting and pleasing experience.
I've read for James Patterson (merry merry, catch me if you can)
I strongly recommend this brilliant author.
Cheers!

I would check it out.
Thank you.
