Good day, founder, authors and bibliophiles. Happy 4th anniversary to this wonderful community. It has been a day safe space for readers and authors alike to talk about books and the contents within them. After reading the comments, I have seen the impact that this community has had and is still having on people.
Whenever I join a social media app, be it FB, Twitter and other apps alike, the first community I search for is a community that has to do with reading books and reviewing or just talking about them. When I joined the Hive blockchain 9 months back, I was very glad to see that there was a bookclub. Thanks to @justfavour. It made me glad to just read reviews and hear what people had to say on some specific books. It was nice to agree or disagree on some opinion pieces or the structure in which some books were written.
While i love this community and the content in it, I believe that there is still more that can be done to make it bigger and more inclusive. There are people who would love to write book reviews but don't know how to go about it.
It would be encouraging if there is a post about guidelines to writing a simple book review. This would enable newcomers to find their footing after subscribing to the community. Also, it would be nice if a particular book is introduced into the community every week. We read the book and give our well-written opinions about it. It could be like a contest or just for the fun of it. One thing humans love is being challenged and being able to prove their intellect. These are two of my opinions on how we can make the community larger and bigger.
Thank you, @macchiata for working on the ideation of enhancing literacy and high readership among people. Congratulations, once again.
I'm super glad you joined this community! ❤️
