I don't know if they are the white beans we see here. We have white navy beans and white kidney beans. I love the fact that you have the habaneros in there and the capers. I have never done this with beans. Beans are a good way to survive in any culture. They are the perfect long term storable foods.

It's a delicious recipe and it's great to have one from you.

Coming from you this beautiful comment, I feel really happy. They are likely the same white beans. Here is another variety that is huge, they are called "Lunarias", I have not investigated the scientific name yet, the truth is that those are also delicious. And yes, beans, grains in general, are foods that I always have in my pantry, there are even some that are susceptible to weevils, because they do not have chemical preservatives, (I like to buy them like this), and I keep them even uncooked in the fridge, so they don't get damaged.
