Dear friends, wishing you all a wonderful day! Today, I’m back with another delicious recipe. This time, I’m going to share a tasty dish made with chickpea flour, perfect as a snack for tea time. Often, we make vadai using lentils, but chickpea flour is highly nutritious and can be easily prepared at home with minimal cost. You can easily find chickpea flour at the market, making it even more convenient to prepare. Let’s take a look at how we can make this simple and tasty dish.
Then you can proceed with the recipe instructions you have for this dish
Materials Used.
Chickpea flour 100g.
1 1/2 Teaspoon of crushed chili powder.'
Salt powder to taste.
Some water.
Pure coconut oil for frying.
A pod or two of chopped green chillies.
Curry leaves.
1 finely chopped onion.
The cooking process as follows.
Let’s get ready to make this delicious chickpea flour vadai! First, finely chop the onions, green chilies, and curry leaves.
Next, take a bowl and add the chickpea flour. Then, add the chopped onions, curry leaves, green chilies, salt, and chili powder. Mix everything well until fully combined.
Next, gradually add water as needed and continue mixing to form a smooth, thick batter.
Next, flatten the mixture into thin, even portions and set them aside.
Next, place a pan on the stove and add enough coconut oil. Fry the prepared vada portions until they turn a golden brown.
The chickpea flour vada is now ready! It has a delightful crispy texture, a lovely aroma, and an inviting golden color, making it a perfect treat to serve to guests. This tasty snack is ideal for enjoying with evening tea and can be relished by people of all ages. I hope you’ll give this a try in your kitchen too. So, for today, I’ll take my leave. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Your recipe looks amazing, too bad that here in my country it is difficult to get the chickpea flour, I have tried to make this flour at home and it has been difficult.
Thank you! Homemade flour can be creative and versatile, and I really appreciate your effort! You could soak the chickpeas well and then grind them as an option too.
Thanks, I think it's a good idea to soak the chickpeas and then grind them, I'll try it.
