Often, we make vadai using lentils, but chickpea flour is highly nutritious and can be easily prepared at home with minimal cost. You can easily find chickpea flour at the market, making it even more convenient to prepare. Let’s take a look at how we can make this simple and tasty dish.

Materials Used.

Chickpea flour 100g.
1 1/2 Teaspoon of crushed chili powder.'
Salt powder to taste.
Some water.
Pure coconut oil for frying.
A pod or two of chopped green chillies.
Curry leaves.
1 finely chopped onion.

The cooking process as follows.

Let’s get ready to make this delicious chickpea flour vadai! First, finely chop the onions, green chilies, and curry leaves.

Next, take a bowl and add the chickpea flour. Then, add the chopped onions, curry leaves, green chilies, salt, and chili powder. Mix everything well until fully combined.

Next, gradually add water as needed and continue mixing to form a smooth, thick batter.

Next, flatten the mixture into thin, even portions and set them aside.

Next, place a pan on the stove and add enough coconut oil. Fry the prepared vada portions until they turn a golden brown.
