Hello @sanjeevm, the ritual of plucking flowers is rather interesting. I once heard about praying before plucking to ask permission from the plant and washing it for the offering. We have a hibiscus shrub at home and have always stared at it with the desire to pluck its flowers. I might do that walking barefoot on the grass one morning. Have a lovely weekend!

Well, we have that, but that is only if you are plucking flower at the night. It's believed that we should not hurt the tree after evening - be it any tree. So if for some reason, one needs to pluck flower after evening, then they should take permission. With time, these values are fading. And walking barefoot on the grass has lot of health advantage.

It's interesting to learn about traditions and rituals, thanks for sharing that. I like walking barefoot on the grass..trying to do it whenever possible. Have a great week
