"Your Favorite Indian Cinema"

In past sessions we discussed about#cinetalkies is the community of the cinema lovers where we all come together and discuss one topic everyday. Everyday there is a topic set for the discussion.

  1. Spanish Movies
  2. Japanese Anime

And the third topic in the regional cinema discussion is the Indian Cinema.

I see a number of users discussing about the Indian cinema on cinetv platform. It is $10 billion industry in India and the Indian movies are watched across various other countries including Middle Eastern countries and China.

This topic has come for discussion on a very apt day. Today, India lost its nightingale Lata Mangeshkar. She passed away at the age of 92 years. She had a magical voice. Listen to her songs here

I am planning to listen to her melody whole day today.

Yes, its a sad news for the Indian Cine industry but the songs she sang in 1970's are considered evergreen. Many of us were not even borne when she became a successful singer. She was borne in 1929. Her most iconic song was sang in 1962 when then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was full of tears listening to her song. It was dedicated to the martyrs of 1962 war between India and China.

Its a Sad News. She was a global personality. Wherever we meet Indians, we hear two names of Indians Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar. I think this must be a big loss for the Indian fans. All across the country I am sure there would be melodies sang today.

Omg, I didn't knew about it. She is a legend and pride of Indian Music Industry. Her popular song 'Mere Watan ke logo' always gives me goosebumps. She will be missed alot. 😞

Indian movies have a lot of appeal globally. One of my most favorite Indian movie is Bajirao Mastani. You can watch all the hit scenes from this movie here

I dont watch a lot of Indian cinema, but I remember watching Sholay and Deewar some years back. The Indian superstar Amitabh Bachhan acted in these.

We are discussing the Indian cinema today but its a really bad day for Indian cine industry. Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary singer and nightingale of India passed away at the age of 92. India announced 2 day National Mourning. She sang over 30,000 songs in her lifetime. She stayed unmarried throughout her life time. Its the end of an era.

I just got to hear her songs viz. Kabhi Kabhi Mere dil Mein, Khayal ata hai. A perfect melody sung by Late Lata Mangeshkar.

Indian movies are great, Bollywood should be the biggest movie industry in the world after Hollywood and it is widely accepted worldwide.
My favorite Indian movie should be WAR, I love action movies very much the more reason WAR is my favorite, it’s intriguing, fun and very dope, I loved every bit of it.
Phenomenal!
Quite possibly the best Indian action thriller of last decade.
Powerful, never-before-seen action sequences will keep you enthralled throughout.
There was not a single dull moment.
Maximum amount of time for action scenes, I really enjoyed every bit of it
You can watch the movie trailer here

The show revolves around a child named Gangaa, who becomes a widow on the same day as her marriage when her husband and her father Varun Shukla whom she was very close, are killed in Varanasi. The show follows her struggle for her right to live happily, opposing the restrictions placed upon widows by society despite being at an agent responsible for help at which she did not know the meaning of marriage.

The indian movie industry is very big in my country Nigeria especially on Zeeworld channel.

King of Heart is interesting series I watched on Zeeworld. It was based on the story of Siddharth who is an established man eagerly tries to fix the relationship between his love interest Roshni and her mother Durga Devi.
I really loved the series as it was entertaining and filled with surprises

There are many great Indian Movies, some are worldwide known and acclaimed. If I had to choose a single, I would say, 3 idiots, one of my favourites movies which totally changed my attitude towards life and bring positive change in my life. Also its the only movie I can say I have seen maximum no of times. !PIZZA
