How to start meditation and what happens with your mind at the beginning??
Hello everyone on the 3Speak community!! It's a pleasure for me to share with you this video, where I'll share some of the things that I'm also teaching in the Yoga Teacher Training where I'm current working.
Nowadays meditation has become a very common practice, and you can find a lot of free videos whith actually very good meditation practices.
The thing is that if you are a complete beginner and you have no idea how to start, you will listen to hundred of meditations, but you won't manage the way to achieve the benefits of this practice.
So my goal with this video, is to explain you a little bi what happen with your mind when you start your meditation practices, and what to do to train your mind in order to be able to reach the meditative stage.

I think even taking a few mins to breathe is helpful. It's not true meditation but I take a few mins while driving the concentrate on my breath and it seems to help while I commute to work.
Definitely!! Breathing is the first step, and of course, is very important. And it helps in every situation. The thing is that when you are driving, your attention needs to go to the cars, the street, the pedestrians, etc., so you are not relaxing your mind, let's say.
If you take this breathing, 2 minutes before going out to work, or when you arrive at home, you'll notice amazing results.
Anyway, the awareness of breathing is already a very good step towards meditation. :D
