Hello friends.
Today is National Haiku Day - a day to celebrate the Japanese poetry form. Haiku are typically three lines, with the first and third lines having five syllables, and the second line having seven syllables. The form is meant to be evocative - often focusing on nature - but it can be about anything that inspires you. Today, haiku lovers around the world are writing and sharing their poems.
Haiku day is a special day for lovers of this special form of poetry. Haiku day is a day to celebrate the simple things in life and to find the beauty in the world around us. On this day, we take the time to appreciate the little things that make life worth living. We may not always find the perfect words to describe our emotions, but on this day, we let the words flow freely and let the Haiku speak for itself.

There's something special about Haiku. It's like a little puzzle, and when you finally crack the code and get the words to fit perfectly, it's enormously satisfying. Even if you don't manage to create a perfect Haiku, the process of trying is a joy in itself.
And this brings us to today's challenge.

Seems y'all need to use a different validation service. Neither of the examples you gave were haikus. A haiku is characterized by a flow of 5-7-5 syllables. The first one was 4-7-5 and the second one was 7-7-5. If the validator is going to let those through the cracks, it'll let anything through.

We (DBUZZ) did not design that tool, but came up when I was looking for a Haiku checker. Hahahhaahahaha. I guess, I failed on my Haiku mission. :D If you have a Haiku checking tool you recommended, I would be happy to check it out.

Lol, no worries! I kinda figured as much, which is why I wanted to let y'all know! Idk about haiku checker tools, I just use my fingers to count off the syllables. Lol
