Introduction
Only in a few fleeting moments of my life have I known freedom, and I can tell you now that freedom feels like God; like love; like the complete absence of self-doubt; and like power. But I do not want you to take my word for it. What I want, is for you to experience freedom for yourself. So I ask that you abandon your preconceived notions about reality, and I invite you to view the world the way that I do for a short time. If you can do this, I am quite certain, that you will find not only the path to freedom, but the path to what they call Heaven itself.
I ask, in fact, I beg, that you read this post in its entirety, as many times as necessary, until you understand it. Because we humans are not the only entities that long for freedom, and if we do not acquire our version, the pure version of freedom soon, we will find ourselves subject to an existence where our enemies have attained their version of freedom - which is by no means the same thing.
It is not lost on me that the majority will think these claims to be arrogant. What are the chances of a random man on Hive knowing the secrets of the universe, and being able to tell you what everyone else cannot? I would be very skeptical too. So I feel the need to tell you why I know what I know, so that you will be more receptive to these ideas which are of the utmost importance.
I am someone who for much of his life behaved wickedly, but who felt no regret, for I was almost entirely thoughtless. But one day, several years ago, after near destroying someone I realised I had come to love, all in the pursuit of what I believed to be my own selfish desires, something happened. For a mere moment, the consequences of my destructive behaviour and the immeasurable ripple effect those consequences would have upon people I would never even know or meet, became abundantly clear to me. In that moment, I was overcome with the most awful feeling I have ever experienced, but also the most useful one. It was that moment that changed the course of my life forever, for I realised that almost every single thing I had ever done, were things I did not truly want to do. I began to realise that I was living in a hostile environment, and that someone or something out there was trying to make me into something I was not, something I ought never be. And as a result of this, I became for the first time in my life hyper-aware of almost everything. It was a deep fear of being corrupted further that elevated my perception to the extent that subliminal messages were no longer subliminal to me, and it is that acquired skill that led me ultimately to the understandings that I possess today.
I want to be honest with you. I have fallen back into my wicked ways. But the thirst for righteousness has never left me since that moment. It is only my self-belief that has waned. And so while I do spend the majority of my time in the pursuit of truth, I unfortunately have failed to break free of my cycles of destructive behaviour thus far.
It seems likely to me that this entire post is written from a place of selfishness. In my belief that I do not have the strength to walk the path that I know I must, I've become hopeful that if I can convince another to walk it with me, that I will then have the courage and determination to do so too. So please, understand that I am not a man who has heard other people talk and am repeating what I heard to you in order to sound smart. I am a man who has almost lost his mind in the pursuit of the truth, and whose ideas were borne of a genuine desire to know and to be the truth.
Freedom
Before I can explain to you what freedom is, I must first tell you what a spirit is. For it is not men who are ultimately responsible for our bondage, but spirits. It seems the word was smuggled into our language to cause confusion, for if you ask a hundred people to define the word, you will likely get 99 different answers. But the world is so much more magical than the overwhelming majority observe. The world is both our greatest teacher, and our most loyal friend. And if you pay attention to what our dear Friend is saying, you will find a lesson on what spirits are, hidden in plain sight.
I speak on parasites, and think it not a coincidence that the word parasite utilises the same consonants as the word spirit, and priest, and rapist. This is not a coincidence, for coincidences do not exist. They are in fact the footsteps, the trail left behind by the spirits, that expose their agendas.
But in regards to parasites, we know that if we eat something we shouldn't, we will end up with parasites growing within us. Utilising our bodies as hosts, they are able to manipulate our emotions, and even to put thoughts in our minds. A parasite can wake you up at 2AM and lead you to order a McDonald's. or raid your fridge for junk food. The power they have over us, is by no means insignificant.
Now let us consider what happens when you eat, or consume some information or ideas that you shouldn't. This can happen without you even noticing, by simply walking past an advertisement, or over hearing someone's conversation. or being in a room where music or a movie happens to be playing in the background. Just like how we need to be careful about what we eat in terms of food, we need to be careful about what we consume in relation to ideas. Because ultimately, this is what a spirit is, or at the very least, what it can be reduced to; an idea. We could also call a spirit, a belief.
If you believe me not, I ask you to consider some of the most well known spirits, and let us see if we cannot reduce them to ideas.
The spirit of Lucifer is the spirit of pride or self-importance. This is the idea that, "what I want, is more important than what you need." It is little more than the anthropomorphisation of selfishness.
Mammon, the spirit of greed, is the idea that one does not have enough. And if one believes they do not have enough, the agenda, the drive, is created, to acquire more.
Asmodeus, the spirit of lust, is the idea that it is good to get laid, and if you believe it is good to get laid, the drive is created to try and get laid.
I want to briefly point out that the reasons why we believe the things we believe, are also a type of belief, and therefore a type of spirit. I call them the spirits of logic, but suspect the term elemental spirits is also pointing to the same thing. Perhaps this is why so many of the elemental spirits have connotations with building and with trickery and deceit. For it is with the spirits of logic that we construct our paradigms, and how often do we deceive ourselves about the reasons we believe the things we do?
With that said, let us get back to the other type of spirits, which we tend to call angels or demons. Angels being beliefs that lead us towards doing Good, and demons being destructive beliefs that lead us towards Evil.
Envy, also called Beezlebub, is surely the idea, or the belief, or the notion, that one is insignificant. Perhaps this is why Beezlebub is often portrayed as a fly. And we can see in the behaviour of envious people, that they do not seek to make themselves more, so they can be as big as they perceive others to be. No. That would require self-belief, which is not a trait to be found in those who consider themselves to be insignificant. So a jealous person will instead seek to bring others down to their level, so that they might not feel so tiny.
Sloth, is the spirit of laziness, and is the belief that nothing matters. If you believe that nothing is important, then you have no reason to act.
I could keep going, but I hope that I have made my point that spirits can be reduced to ideas.
There is one thing valuable, however, about this cryptic word "spirit." And that is the fact that it points to an attribute within the concept, that words such as idea, notion, or belief do not. That attribute, is that spirits are, ideas are, alive. No, life is not the correct word, for I believe that life involves choice, and spirits do not have a choice. Spirits have the same level of sentience I would say, that plants do. I think it likely the only reason we have the same word, "alive," to describe the manner of existence in plants as we do in humans and animals, is to make it easier for us to justify eating animals. Spirits are also in bondage, and must adhere to the parameters of the idea they embody. For example, if one was to conjure the spirit of Lucifer, they would not hear him say "praise God." One would not summon Asmodeus and hear him say "be celibate." The type of life that these ideas or spirits possess, is that they, like humans, want to stick around in this world. They want to thrive - and they by all means wish not to be forgotten, which means essentially, they have no human or animal host in which to exercise their agendas through.
Something that is also incredibly relevant, is this notion of integrating the shadow. When you understand what spirits are, you understand the truth of what the Shadow Carl Jung speaks of is composed of in its most basic form - bad ideas. And thus, the idea to integrate your shadow is actually the idea that one should negotiate with or accept bad ideas - which is by no exaggeration the most insidious idea ever conceived and propagated. I will go into greater depth on this in a later post, as it is an important topic and one that I believe worth devoting an entire post to.
Back to spirits though, of which we have discussed so far only demons. Oh, and while we are on the topic of demons, it is worth noting that the word daimon where we get our word demon translates to "lesser gods" or "guiding spirits." And how accurate is that? Lesser gods they are called, for they are lesser notions of what is good, just as false deities are really false or lesser duties people have elected for themselves, and false idols, an idle use of time. But "guiding spirits" is an excellent term, because this is exactly what they do.
Consider three men walking down the same road in three parallel universes. The first is possessed most potently by the spirit of lust, Asmodeus. He will notice the jiggly arse in leggings over there, and the busty cleavage over there, because his eyes are literally guided by the search within his environment for opportunities to get laid. The next man, infected with the spirit of greed, will not notice the same things, because his eyes are guided by the search for a chance to acquire more wealth or power. The third, let's say he is imbued with the spirit of God or with righteousness, will notice entirely different things, because his eyes will be guided most likely by the search within his environment for the opportunity to make the world better, or himself better. So perhaps he is the only one who even notices the homeless family sleeping under the nearby footbridge.
This is the sort of power these spirits have over us, and it does not stop there. Consider the first man, riddled with the spirit of lust, later looking out his window at home. He notices his neighbour, exiting her car while carrying a lot of shopping. He gets the idea to go down there and help her, righteous man he believes himself to be. However, once he gets inside the house and places her shopping on the counter, he finds himself looking around the house for the teenage daughter so he can shoot a flirty look at her or something.
We can see what happened there, is that Asmodeus presented a not-so-noble agenda, but cloaked it in a veil of righteousness, and the host ate it up, wanting to believe he was a good man. Should he end up conversing with that teenage daughter and trying to bed her, he would still be oblivious to the fact that it was Asmodeus and not God or some notion of goodness that led him down there in the first place.
Now do you see, the level of control these invaders, these aliens, have over us? Not only the power to determine where we point our eyes, put thoughts in our heads, or manipulate our emotions, but even the power to determine the manner in which we interpret the things we are looking at.
Now let us talk about the story or Lucifer that we all know, and that is in fact an amalgamation of many scriptures. Because this story, which in spite of being fraudulent in a scriptural sense, has both survived and endured. And this is for a reason, because as I said, everything is a lesson.
Words are funny things. I said earlier that angels are productive beliefs that guide a person to do Good in the world. But, when we talk about fallen angels, we are not talking about beliefs anymore. Now we are talking about humans. Just as a good belief is an angel, which translates to messenger of god, we too are angels, because we are messengers of god, and have a directive written upon our hearts that leads us, or ought to lead us to serve the spirit of good. This is why in the Bible, God is constantly hammering on about not worshipping false gods, and instead worshipping only him. It is not because God is a jealous 12 year old girl. It is because god, in this instance, is referring to the human heart, and how it behaves. If you go and serve the spirit of greed, or of lust, your heart will punish you for it, and tell you to come back serve the spirit of good.
The concept of the Holy Trinity actually encodes this truth. The father, is the heart; the one that guides and punishes us. The Son, is the flesh. And the Holy Spirit, is the messenger that brings the commands of the father, of the heart, to the son, which is the flesh. We must use our minds to interpret what our heart is telling us, and our mind is not Holy if we erroneously believe that the heart is leading us to serve ourselves. No, the heart is a message of Good, and if the antithesis of Good is Lucifer, the spirit of pride and of rebellion against good, then we can quite easily discern that the opposite of self importance, and serving one's self at the expense of others, is self-sacrifice in service of the whole. This is why it is called the Holy spirit, because it is concerned not with you only, but with the whole. And if you get your priorities in order, and understand that the heart, the voice of God, is trying to guide you towards serving everyone and not just yourself, you will finally understand what the father is telling you, and you will be able to, should you have the strength and the courage, do the right thing.
This is also while Jesus is the Son of God, because he is his father's son - meaning, he listens to and obeys at every turn, the commands given to him by his heart. This is also why he is called the truth, because he is true to himself, being a messenger of God obeying the message of good written upon his heart. And it is also why he is imbued with power, because nature is not dumb. Why would nature entrust the secrets of the universe to someone who is unworthy, and who may abuse the secrets for personal gain? It would not, because that would be dumb.
When you understand this, you can see that the New Testament ought not be a New Testament. It should just be as any other book of the Bible, for the majority of the stories are indeed about someone who became or was righteous, and who was granted special powers because of it.
I know this is hard to believe but it is encoded everywhere. Consider the phrase "Know thyself and you will understand the planets and the gods" and the implication there is that if you understand everything, you will have the power to shape the future(why Jesus is a Carpenter, why Thor has a Hammer, and why the Free Masons are called Masons)
People hear this well known adage and believe it to mean, if one can sit around and deliberate for days, weeks, months, or however long it takes until they can eloquently and precisely state who they are and what their place in the world is, then they will be granted the knowledge of everything. But, that makes no sense, because if you're able to precisely articulate who you are and what your exact role in this world is, then you must already know the truth.
What this phrase is really getting at, is that if you know yourself, know as in the way it used in the bible, meaning to "experience" yourself, then you will be granted the truth. It is telling you, to be yourself, and not to allow invading spirits to usurp control of your body and utilise it for their own ends. Just be yourself, follow the message on your heart, and you will have proven yourself worthy and be granted knowledge and therefore power.
On the topic of worthiness, consider this word. Worthy. It sounds like "were thee." The word thee means "you" and the word worthy existed at a time when we used thee rather than you to speak in the singular. So do you not see that this word encodes this message; if only you were you, you would then be deemed worthy?
Lets consider Gnosticism, which teaches that salvation is attained through knowledge of God. People read this and think they need to read all the scriptures, and the Apocalypse of X, Y and Z and then maybe, if they study it enough, they will attain salvation - which since the Gnostics are all about knowledge, one could surmise means the truth. But again, this is a misinterpretation of the word knowledge. It is saying, if you can gain knowledge, as in the experience of Good, which can be achieved only through doing Good, which you can do by following your heart, then you will achieve salvation. Even a deeper look at Gnosticism and the Archons tells the same story I am telling you, but I will allow you to investigate that yourself.
Let's get to Noah, which by no accident sounds like "knower." He is described as the most righteous, he is uncontaminated because he is not infected with evil spirits, and he knows the flood is coming. He knew the flood was coming because he was righteous. Now, I do not believe this story to be literal. And his Ark full of animals he has to take care of, is really symbolic of his life taking an arc that leads him to expand his sphere of responsibility, knowing that he is responsible for the well being of every living being and all that will come next, just as we all are. But let us move on to one of my favourite hidden truths about the righteous being imbued with power.
An Easter egg, is a hidden object in a game that grants the finder of it super powers or access to secret levels.
Who was born on Easter? More specifically, who was born for the second time on Easter? And who came out of darkness into light, much the way a chick would hatch from an egg? Do you not see that this is hiding the simple truth that if you can find your second coming, if you can kill the Luciferian, selfish aspect of yourself and be born again in the spirit of Christ - a servant to the whole, you will be blessed with the powers you need to complete your mission, and access to secret levels, such as heaven.
So do you see now that Lucifer being cast down from heaven to earth for refusing to bow to man, is a metaphor for a human, being cast from a blissful existence into suffering, for failing to bow to man - failing to put others before himself? This is why we suffer, it is why Lucifer has the word suffer encoded in the last two syllables. It is why the Son of the Morning encodes the word mourning, another word for suffering, and why the Light Bearer, has the word bear, a word for suffering and endurance. It is also why only a third of the angels fell, because we are made of three aspects; mind(spirit), body(flesh), and soul(heart), and it is telling us that only one aspect of our three components has fallen from its original grace - the mind. And if we can get our minds right, our priorities right, if we can understand that the heart is not guiding us selfishly but is giving us commands from a place of love for all living, then we will be able to accurately interpret the voice of the father. And should we have the courage to obey, knowing that the entire world in its wickedness will turn against us because of it, then we will find ourselves to be Holy.
This world may belong to the spirits, it's really their show. But we humans have a power that is unrivalled, we have the power to decide which spirits we will serve, and consequently, which spirits will dominate the future. So accept you are a slave, a servant. There is no way around that. Even if you do nothing all day, you have served the spirit of sloth. Our power lies in our ability to choose what ideas are expressed through the vessels we hold authority over, and this is what it really means to submit to god. It isn't about getting on your knees. Much to the contrary, it is about standing up against evil, and about committing to self-bondage, permitting yourself to serve only the spirit of God or of Good.
So what does freedom, to a human, feel like? It feels like having control over your own body for the first time. The Eastern Philosophies will tell you, overcome all desire and become enlightened - a word that means to suddenly know the truth. The West will tell you to the seek the truth, which is achieved by conquering your demons - who the desires truly belong to. Every religion ever, though our language may have been manipulated to obfuscate the true meaning of the authors, is telling you the exact same thing;
The Truth Will Set You Free
The Final Boss
A final tip for the demons slayers out there. You needn't waste your time battling lesser demons. For it is by no mistake that Lucifer is known as the King of all demons, and that pride is known as the father of all sins. Without first believing that what you want is more important than what we all need, you can have no other destructive beliefs. They all stem from that initial erroneous understanding that serving yourself ahead of the whole is worth your time.
Consider Asmodeus a final time, the spirit of Lust. Anywhere you find Asmodeus, you will find Lucifer, the spirit of Pride, for he opened the door. Because Lust is one of the generals in Lucifer's legions. But, Asmodeus has his own legions, for how many ways is there to serve the spirit of lust? Homosexuality and sadism are some increasingly prevalent ones at the moment. But how many ways can one serve the spirit of homosexuality or of sadism? Thus, these demons too, have their legions.
This is what the hierarchy of demons is subtly getting at. It is telling you, do not waste your time battling lesser demons. Cut off the head of the snake, and all his minions, every demons below him in rank, will be severed from you, or subdued also. Of course that is easier said than done. To defeat Lucifer, to defeat pride means, to abandon all personal ambition, and even to leave behind the notion that your loved ones are more special than anyone else's loved ones.
To claim victory over the King of all demons, we must step into our responsibility and become Lords of the Earth and all the living. For the true meaning of the word Lord, is servant - one who has devoted their life to protecting and serving others.
Do this, and you will know freedom.
Thanks for reading. Please read again now, or ask me about anything you're struggling to believe.
A fascinating write-up! I can't say that I agree with everything that you say here, but it's certainly a unique perspective on the topics you've tagged. Unique as far as I'm concerned, anyhow. That's the cool part about different perspectives. We can all look at and interpret things in many different ways. I was interested in Asmodeus. You suggested that Asmodeus is the spirit of lust and made a final mention of it at the tail end of your article concerning homosexuality and sadism.
As far as I see it, lust is sexual desire. A man may lust for his wife. That is to say that men and women have sexual desire for each other even after marriage, and this is one way that procreation happens. Another way is when men and women procreate outside of marriage. Is sexual desire between a married couple feeding the demon of lust? I say demon because it is clear that you are using the words 'lesser spirit' and 'demon' synonymously.
Thank you. I am a very sceptical person and it has taken me a long time to share my ideas because much of the people in my life have worked tirelessly to convince me I am mentally ill. For a long time I almost believed it, and was also haunted by this parable attributed to Jesus; "Hypocrite, take the plank of wood from your own eye before attempting to remove the spec of dust from your neighbours."
I was quite afraid of teaching people the wrong thing because of my understanding of the power of words and the beliefs they incite, and so I mostly remained silent for the past few years, refining my understandings. But as the entire world begins to burn around me, I no longer feel it could possibly be the right thing to remain silent. And I believe it possible now, that Lucifer has been subtly manipulating my own loved ones to drive me into isolation, self-doubt and ultimately suicide.
I am quite sure that is a symptom of schizophrenia, to believe that everyone is out to get you. But I am doubting my ideas less everyday, and the world seems to be nudging me towards this end using coincidences to affirm the ideas I am thinking about at the time.
So, I cannot say wholeheartedly that what I say is the truth. I believe if I were righteous, I would know for sure. But unfortunately, I am not. Yet, at least. But this is I believe, if not the truth, a belief system that could inspire one to conquer their demons and become an asset to a world in desperate need of some.
I would ask you to tell me all the things you are struggling to believe or to get behind, because I have a billion more words and ideas that I could share to hopefully back up anything that I have not done a good enough job of explaining. I just did not want the post to be an overwhelming length, or it may not have been read. I know that attention spans are becoming shorter by the day.
In regards to your question about lust, I think there is a difference between having sex for the purpose of procreation, and having sex for pleasure. Having sex for pleasure is time spent serving yourself or your partner, that could have been spent serving the world which is in dire need of intervention.
I would also go a step further, though I am undecided on this issue in spite of all the time I have spent pondering it, whether there is any good reason to procreate at all. Certainly, the world as it stands, is not safe for children, and perhaps our time would be better spent making it so rather than creating new versions of ourselves so that we can try and fix our mistakes through them or have someone who will love us, or who we can boss around. Better it would be, surely, for us to make our mistakes count and become far better versions of ourselves, get the world in good order, and then perhaps we can make babies.
If death is inevitable then of course procreation is necessary, but if the scriptures are at all accurate when they say death is only a consequence of sin (I am not saying it is, for I do not know), can you think of any good reason to procreate in a world where everyone lives forever anyway? I guess in such world, life would be unarguably a gift. But giving life to a child in a world such as this, where evil forces dominate the world effectively unchallenged, seems more like a curse.
