Do you sometimes feel like your mind has been taken hostage?
I'm not just referring to anxiety, though certainly anxiety can feel like an all-powerful force when you're in its grip.
I'm referring to any incessant thought patterns that are detrimental to our well-being. That tell us we're not good enough. That keep us stuck in bitterness and resentment, instead of moving forward and just enjoying our lives.
There's all sorts of speculation on where exactly these dark forces come from. Whether it's programming, childhood trauma, AI, etc.
But engaging in such speculation (yes, I've done it too) doesn't really do us much good.
What's more important is, of course, how do we overcome these forces?
Many people in the spiritual community recommend a gentle approach like meditation or yoga.
That may work for some, but not for me.
When our thoughts wage war against us, I feel we must fight back with equal vigor and intensity. Not with more of the same -- anger, hate, negativity -- but with light.
Here are two songs that can aid in that battle.
The first is called "Warriors." The lyrics say it all: "Don't you know that you're a warrior, and your heart's a battleground? / There are forces waging war here / Don't let your defenses down / Love needs believers / Are you ready? Are you ready? / March into the light!"
I'm pretty sure this is a Christian song, but regardless of your belief system, I think the lyrics ring true.
For the second song, the title says it all: "Hold your head up high."
Again, the lyrics speak for themselves.
"You could be feeling lots of pain. You're out of work, you've lost your home, sleeping out in the cold and rain. You've got to find the light inside of you. All you need to know is, it will show you what to do."
These two songs -- both through their lyrics and through their emotional intensity and energy -- can aid in blasting away those dark spirits.
Want to take it up a notch? Dance to these songs!
Dancing—really, any form of vigorous activity, but dance is my favorite—can help us break through those layers of muck and reclaim our power.
So the next time your inner world wages war against you, what will you choose?

I fight with light 🙂 Unless I make the decision to be positive, nothing and no one can help me.
I also recommend dancing to happy songs too!
Exactly! It all comes down to choice.
The strongest people in my opinion are those who find gems in the midst of difficulty. And I see that this is what you are trying to encourage here. To make us try as much as we can to stay positive in the midst of all the turbulence we might be facing. Thanks for this. 💚💚
Absolutely! And thank you for your kind words. I'm glad it resonated.
I believe everyone has his or her own personal way of fighting back so discovering yourself is also important
I enjoyed every part of your presentation
Thank you! That means a lot to me. And yes, absolutely -- there is no one size fits all solution.
Steiner once said:
Meditation is like food for insects (for the lowest living beings on the other side)
You meditate and think you talk with god, while simultaneously those are just memviruses trying to suck you out.
(not his wording, not a quote, but how I understand - putting some more new old gnostic intel in)
Interesting. I heard a similar theory regarding the chakras. It's hard to know what happens on the "other side," but in the end, I think it comes down to, does it work for you?
I do admit it raises my suspicion when people like Eckhart Tolle are promoted by the system -- it raises the question, what do "they" get out of this? -- but then again, a lot of people have benefited from his teachings. I do think the universe (or at least the universe as we know it) operates in principles of yin/yang so there are plenty of good things to come from the system.
Do you have some examples of good things coming from the system for me please?
Great question! My friend and I were actually trying to come up with examples of good things the US government has done earlier today, and we were really racking our brains. Lol. It's all a matter of perspective, really, but I feel like a lot of popular entertainment (to give just a few examples, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, John Hughes movies, and the music of Prince and Michael Jackson) have captured the hearts and imagination of millions of people and brought them joy, even if we can argue they came from the system and are intended in some ways to promote system agendas.
Similarly, I am grateful for the modern conveniences generated from the system such as paved roads, refrigeration, and the internet. Again, though, it's a matter of perspective. We could argue that people were perfectly happy, if not more, before these things were invented.
Very interesting post! I prefer to use the term 'counterbalancing' instead of fight, since it is a more pacifist term which is very good for tilting the balance of some moods. So counterbalancing with calm, peace, and love (which includes understanding) are great for overcoming these dark moods. All the best, take care, stay safe, much health, keep up the good work, many blessings, great prosperity, and great peace your way! Namaste and God bless you! 😊🙏✌️☮️
Thank you! And you're right, "counterbalancing" is a better term for sure.
Thank you as well for this confirmation! All the best once again!
