RE: When Meditation Doesn't Work

in Abundance Tribe3 years ago

Steiner once said:

Meditation is like food for insects (for the lowest living beings on the other side)
You meditate and think you talk with god, while simultaneously those are just memviruses trying to suck you out.
(not his wording, not a quote, but how I understand - putting some more new old gnostic intel in)

Interesting. I heard a similar theory regarding the chakras. It's hard to know what happens on the "other side," but in the end, I think it comes down to, does it work for you?

I do admit it raises my suspicion when people like Eckhart Tolle are promoted by the system -- it raises the question, what do "they" get out of this? -- but then again, a lot of people have benefited from his teachings. I do think the universe (or at least the universe as we know it) operates in principles of yin/yang so there are plenty of good things to come from the system.

Do you have some examples of good things coming from the system for me please?

Great question! My friend and I were actually trying to come up with examples of good things the US government has done earlier today, and we were really racking our brains. Lol. It's all a matter of perspective, really, but I feel like a lot of popular entertainment (to give just a few examples, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, John Hughes movies, and the music of Prince and Michael Jackson) have captured the hearts and imagination of millions of people and brought them joy, even if we can argue they came from the system and are intended in some ways to promote system agendas.

Similarly, I am grateful for the modern conveniences generated from the system such as paved roads, refrigeration, and the internet. Again, though, it's a matter of perspective. We could argue that people were perfectly happy, if not more, before these things were invented.
