Hello!
Like I mentioned, I was visiting my father last weekend, and after getting back, my back was acting up after the drive so I postponed the posting till Today.
I went there to update his Linux laptop. Other than that, moving him from Windows to Linux was pretty much uneventful. After my mother some seven to eight years ago I cleaned up my mother's laptop, and installed Linux on it.
Since then I've only very rarely gotten any support calls from my father, other than the larger updates.
I think Linux is a perfect OS for older people like him.
I originally installed him Xubuntu, but after a few years, the computer got too old and decided to not power on anymore, he bought a Lenovo laptop, and I installed KDE Neon on it.
He adjusted to the KDE Plasma UI quite painlessly.
My dad is also planning to invest in Ethereum in the future, so I helped him create an account in our local crypto market place. Granted, he doesn't understand using crypto at all, but he figured he wants to try it out. And "I'll be there to hold his hand" if it gets too difficult.
Well I did remind him that he shouldn't invest any more than he is prepared to lose, but he was unbudged.
There was a bird feeder hidden into the hedge in his yard. The Great tit was there eating away, and I tried to shoot a photo, but alas, the tit was too quick, and my Super Carenar 135mm was just too short, and too slow to focus.
When I got home however, I got to shoot some photos of Milaya. She's a cutie, and her eyes had opened on the very same day I got back home.
I think this is a good set.
I'll try to push today's photos in next, but I haven't had the chance of editing them yet, so if I don't make it in time. It's 22:58 (11pm) right now so I'm not giving any promises.
See ya!

Feliz noche.
Milaya very cute @gamer00. We old people have a hard time understanding the handling of cryptocurrencies, but the good thing is that young people are aware. I'm working and I have little time left to do the posts. I hope your back is better. Good night
My back is feeling a bit better now, thank for asking! However I seem to have caught a case of sinusitis now.
Yes I think my father also has a hard time understanding them, but he did let me know it was a smart move for me having invested in cryptocurrencies.
It's been quite difficult explaining the cryptocurrency world to family and relatives though. It seems we are still quite tiny compared to something like the real estate, stockmarkets, or even gold. I mean there may be a lot of money tied into cryptos, but there's simply not much understanding of what the importance and function of cryptocurrencies actually is. Add on top of all that, the fact that quite many people don't yet seem to grasp how to use them.
Maybe it's age, maybe something else. I don't quite think my little brother is too old to learn and understand them though.
I'm hoping that more people will find use in them however. Hive itself is an exceptionally good use-case.
I am glad that you are better, I lived with sinusitis, allergies, the otolaryngologist doctor after surgery sent me a medication for life, the montelukas compound, when I neglect myself and do not take it, the runny nose returns, it is tormenting. In Venezuela, cryptocurrencies are helping many people, those who are active have a good opportunity to cover basic food, but services such as internet, gas, water, gasoline are failing.
Inflation is very high, the bank gives very little cash. I do not go out much, my children, because they are older, do not want me to get sick, according to the vaccine has not yet arrived, but the president's son did. I just have to hold on until this is over. Take care @gamer00. Blessings
Wow! The puppy is very cute! It will be very difficult to give her away!! ππ½π
That's a real cute one <3
