I want to contribute to what brother Eli said and from Ecl.8:8. God has the ultimate power to decide why people die, when they die and where they die.
It's important to understand that God's wisdom is past finding out and His decision is final and unquestionable. He's sovereign.
Besides, God by His wisdom and knowledge of the future might decide to terminate a life that would be doom if allowed to reach a certain age, thus averting the eternal lost. For example, someone that is holy before God now but will fall into eternal damnation in future might be taken away in form of death so he can be saved eternally.
Above all, only God knows why people die and nobody lives forever on earth. So the important thing is belonging to Christ, whether alive or physically death.
