Beautiful pictures and absolutely wonderful dwellings. My cousin told me that when he was in Romania it was the coldest place he ever experienced. These pictures reflect his sentiment perfectly but make these incredible wood homes look even more snug.

During winter it can be harsh, but I must tell you that in the latest years our winters changed too. Global warming reduces what once was a fierce cold december to warmy cosy spring time month. Very little snow in comparison with other years. We can only hope and actively take care of nature in the idea of having back the winter we were used to as children.
The comfort of a log/wood house is amazing. I would pick this kind of home over anything.
