I plan to visit similar sites here in the States this year. I've been to Pompey's Pillar, and they also had protective measures for the Lewis and Clark carvings. Closer to home, there is also Treaty Rock Park in Post Falls, Idaho with similarly preserved carvings. I haven't been to any sites with native petroglyphs or the like in ages.

We would !LUV to visit some of the carvings in the States. The best ones I have seen in Australia were up in the Northern Territory. Kakadu National park. We should really revisit there to I was pretty young and I think I would appreciate them a lot more now.
