National Botanical Gardens, Canberra, Australia.

in TravelFeed6 days ago

Right in the middle of Canberra is Australia’s National Botanical Gardens. It is nestled into the side of Black Mountain right underneath the Communications tower. Being located on the side of a mountain means means you can easily build up a sweat and work on a bit of fitness, just walking around.

After all the walking and exploring it was time to check out the popular onsite Botanic gardens cafe called ”Pollen” and see what they had to enjoy.

I had the Healthy Breakfast closest. $19.90 Aud two free range poached eggs, roasted eggplant & tomato marinated feta, chickpeas, za’atar, fried basil, dukkah, injera bread. I have never heard of half this stuff but it was good. @consciouscat had the Smoked Trout Salad at the top of picture.
