But, here we are, so let's get to the post:Greetings, dear ones! We're here in action, this time with another #aroundTheWorld, a photography contest, one of my favorites. Life has been busy, otherwise, I'd participate every week.
The contest asks for only one photograph, but you can't go to beautiful places, fantastic trips, and take just one photograph, can you?
And there are plenty of photos, including for other contests, such as Love the Clouds, Shadow Hunters or Reflection Hunters.
But get ready, because I haven't even chosen the photo for the contest yet, I'll choose it while I produce the post.
The trip starts on Saturday night, after a delicious birthday lunch for my father-in-law Edmar, 81 years old. From there, we took the car and things, did the last shopping, and hit the road:
Notice, from the satellite image, where we were heading: an immense lake, formed by several arms, where several of them were converted into large condominiums, for "accessible" values (in the one we visited, a lot costs eight thousand reais as a down payment, plus 135 installments of 900 reais, more or less).
We left at the end of the day, caught the sunset on the road, Cris driving and I as the navigator. I took this photo, will it be the chosen one?
We arrived around 9 pm, were greeted with a mix of lunch leftovers, cold beer, and new fire on the grill. I presented my famous caipirinha, the owner of the house loved it, we almost knocked over a bottle of pinga on the first night, but there was still "almost half" left for the next night 😁.

The swimming spots are marked, there is signage and trash cans throughout the condominium.
From the top of the highest hill in the condominium, I took this photo, will it be the chosen one?
Along the way, we found a treehouse, unfortunately, access to the upper floor was blocked by a padlock. My friend Ricardão invented a spooky story, obviously, I didn't believe it, but there were children in the group, they even believed it, then he denied what he had said 😄.
After the walk, of more than 4 km, close to lunchtime, all I wanted was water, after all, that whole lake around us, right?
The group went back home, and Ricardo and Adjane went to show us the "main shore", the place of the hustle, which is right in front of their lot.

Too much hustle for my taste, people crammed together, jet-ski and speedboats, I thought it was better to look for a quieter place, which we found in a hidden spot right there on the main shore, but on a dirt road and a massif of vegetation that muffled part of the noise, where we spent more than two hours, the people had already had lunch and were starting to worry about us when we returned home 😅.
After we got back home, I threw myself in a hammock, and we stayed there, enjoying, eating, drinking, listening to music, talking.
Later that night was the Oscar ceremony, "I'm Still Here" won in the best international film category, we celebrated!

During the walk, we learned about the condominium's horticulture project. Thomás, the manager of Portal das Águas and brother of our friend Ricardo, explained to us that the proposal is to carry out the planting, and every three months the project will yield a harvest, encouraging the residents to come and redeem their baskets and enjoy their "house on the lake", as almost nobody lives there, they only go on weekends, and not always. The day of the delivery of the baskets would be, then, a propitious moment for condominium meetings and other collective activities, celebrations of special dates, those things.
After the walk, we had lunch, and the people of the house started to leave, the owners included. While the people were preparing to leave and playing one last game of dominoes, we said goodbye and went to enjoy the lake in our special corner. This time we were accompanied by a family of friends: Alexandre, Karina and their children Alice and João Pedro. With the departure of the crowd, only we were left in the house, magnificent and well stocked 😀.
On Carnival Tuesday we woke up very early, before 6 am, to see the sun rise, you know I'm one of those 😉.
It was wonderful, my girl and I, greeting Aurora 🌞
Cris went back to sleep 😄, I stayed in the hammock, enjoying the day, Alexandre had already gotten up, soon there would still be fishing 😍🐟.
I took advantage of the sun to take some photos of shadows and reflections, news soon 😉.
While enjoying the hammock, we were graced with the visit of a flock of toucans. I took photos and made a video, which you can check out here.
A little later, before lunch even, we went fishing, as agreed.
We didn't catch anything 😅, it was a fun and interesting experience.
Because of the unfruitful fishing, we had to go buy meat in a supermarket outside the condominium, to then return home. If we had found fish, we probably would have applied that classic scam of frustrated fishermen 😁.
After lunch, it was time to pack things up and head home.

Portal da Águas, paraíso na Terra (ou quase isso 😀)
Mas, aqui estamos, então vamos ao post:Salve, simpatias! Tamo aqui na atividade, desta vez com mais um #aroundTheWorld, concurso de fotografias, dos meus preferidos. A vida é que anda corrida, senão participava toda semana.
O concurso pede apenas uma fotografia, mas não dá pra ir a lugares lindos, viagens fantásticas, e tirar uma única fotografia, não é mesmo?
E tem foto de sobra, inclusive pra outros concursos, como Love the Clouds Cloud Lovers, Shadow Hunters ou reflection hunters.
Mas se preparem pq nem escolhi ainda a foto pro concurso, vou escolhê-la enquanto produzo o post.
A viagem começa na noite de sábado, após um delicioso almoço de aniversário do meu sogro Edmar, 81 aninhos. De lá, pegamos o carro e as coisas, fizemos as últimas compras e pegamos a estrada:
Já perceba, pela imagem de satélite, para onde nos dirigíamos: um imenso lago, formado por vários braços, onde vários deles foram convertidos em grandes condomínios, por valores "acessíveis" (neste que visitamos, um lote custa oito mil reais de entrada, mais 135 parcelas de 900 reais, mais ou menos isso)
Saímos no finalzinho do dia, pegamos o por-do-sol na estrada, Cris dirigindo e eu de navegador. Aproveitei pra tirar esta foto, será ela a escolhida?
Chegamos por volta de 21h, fomos recebidos com um mexidão do almoço, cerveja gelada e fogo novo na churrasqueira. Apresentei minha famosa caipirinha, o dono da Casa adorou, quase derrubamos uma garafa de pinga já na primeira noite, mas ainda sobrou "quase metade" pra noite seguinte 😁.

O Portal das Águas é muito bem organizado, vocês vão ver!
Os pontos de banho são marcados, há sinalização e lixeiras por todo o condomínio.
Do alto do morro mais alto do condomínio, tirei esta foto, será ela a escolhida?
Pelo caminho, encontramos uma casa na árvore, infelizmente o acesso ao piso superior estava obstruído por um cadeado. Meu amigo Ricardão inventou uma história fantasmagórica, obviamente não acreditei, mas havia crianças no grupo, elas até acreditaram, depois ele desmentiu o que havia dito 😄.
Depois da caminhada, de mais de 4 km, próximo a hora do almoço, tudo o que eu queria era água, afinal aquele lago todo ao nosso redor, né?
O grupo voltou pra casa, e Ricardo e Adjane foram nos mostrar a "orla principal", o local da muvuca, que fica bem em frente ao lote deles.
Fiz até um vídeo, vc pode conferir aqui. Muito muvucado pro meu gosto, gente embretada, jet-ski e lanchas, achei melhor procurar um lugar mais tranquilo, o que encontramos numa quebrada ali mesmo no orla principal, mas por uma estradinha de terra e um maciço de vegetação que abafava parte da zoada, onde passamos mais de duas horas, o pessoal já tinha almoçado e começavam a ficar preocupados conosco quando retornamos pra casa 😅.
Depois que voltamos pra casa, me joguei numa rede, e ficamos por ali, curtindo, comendo, bebendo, ouvindo, música, conversando.
Mais à noite foi a entrega do Oscar, "Ainda estou aqui" venceu na categoria melhor filme internacional, fizemos a festa!
No outro dia, levantamos e fomos pra mais uma boa caminhada, que vc pode conferir aqui, neste outro relatório Actifit 😀

Durante a caminhada, conhecemos o projeto de horticultura do condomínio. Thomás, sindico do Portal das Águas e irmão do nosso amigo Ricardo, nos explicou que a proposta é realizar o plantio, e a cada três meses o projeto renderá uma colheita, estimulando que os condôminos apareçam para resgatar suas cestas e aproveitem pra curtirem sua "casa no lago", pois quase ninguém mora lá, vão só nos finais de semana, e nem sempre. O dia da entrega das cestas seria, então, um momento propício pra reuniões do condimínio e outras atividades coletivas, comemorações de datas especiais, esssas coisas.
Depois da caminhada, almoçamos, e o pessoal da casa começou a ir embora, os donos inclusive. Enquanto o pessoal preparava pra partir e jogava uma última partida de dominó, nos despedimos e fomos curtir o lago no nosso cantinho especial. Desta vez fomos acompanhado por uma família de amigos: Alexandre, Karina e os filhos Alice e João Pedro. Com a partida da galera, ficamos apenas nós na casa, magnífica e bem abastecida 😀.
Na terça-feira de carnaval acordamos bem cedinho, antes de 6h da manhã, pra ver o Sol nascer, vc sabem que sou desses 😉.
Foi maravilhoso, minha gata e eu, saudando à Aurora 🌞
Cris voltou a dormir 😄, eu fiquei na rede, curtindo o dia, Alexandre já havia levantado, logo mais ainda ia ter pescaria 😍🐟.
Aproveitei o sol pra tirar umas fotos de sombras e reflexos, novidades em breve 😉.
Enquanto curtia a rede, fomos agraciados com a visita dum bando de tucanos. Tirei fotos e fiz um vídeo, que vc pode conferir aqui.
Um pouco mais tarde, antes do almoço ainda, fomos pescar, conforme combinado.
Não pescamos nada 😅, foi uma experiência divertida e interessante.
Por conta da pescaria infrutífera, tivemos que ir comprar carne num supermercado fora do condomínio, para daí voltarmos pra casa. Se tivéssemos encontrado peixe, provavelmente teríamos aplicado aquele golpe clássico dos pescadores frustrados 😁.
Depois do almoço, foi arrumar as coisas e tomar o rumo de casa.
