For the CCC's Street Art Contest #236 hosted by @digi-me, I offer you the mural by Abys done in Lyon during the 5th edition of Mur69, a Lyon-based association supporting StreetArt. This mural changes quite often, but is always of the highest quality.

This wall is quite imposing and perfectly located in Lyon's Croix-Rousse district. I don't know if you noticed on the left the little character on the sign indicating the name of the square. But I'll talk about that later in this post.
Ce mur est assez imposant et parfaitement situé dans le quartier de Croix-Rousse à Lyon. Je ne sais pas si vous avez remarqué sur la gauche le petit personnage sur le panneau indiquant le nom de la place. Mais je vais en parler plus loin dans ce post.
WHERE
The Mur69 (Wall69, 69 is the number of the Rhone department where Lyon is located) is on the Place des Tapis (Carpet Square 😀) in the Croix-Rousse district of Lyon.

This is the Place des Tapis with the work of Abys hidden by the trees. In the foreground is the statue Le Chant des Canuts, a sculpture by Georges Salendre referring to the song written by Aristide Bruant in 1894 in tribute to Lyon's silk workers (the Canuts). And that's it for the cultural part of the post 😀.
Voici la Place des Tapis avec l'oeuvre de Abys cachée par les arbres. Au premier plan, il s'agit de la statue Le Chant des Canuts, sculpture de Georges Salendre faisant référence à la chanson écrite par Aristide Bruant en 1894 en hommage aux travailleurs de la soie de Lyon (les Canuts). Abys
Abys** is an artist and graphic designer based in Lyon. He has been practicing his two passions, illustration and StreetArt, for several years now. He was invited by the association Mur69 to create the fifth edition. Thanks to an agreement signed with the owner, this 120m2 wall is painted almost every year by a new artist (or group of artists) to embellish the neighborhood. Great initiative.
Abys est un artiste et graphiste basé à Lyon. Il pratique ses deux passions, l'illustration et le StreetArt depuis quelques années déjà. Il a été invité par l'association Mur69 a réalisé la cinquième édition. En effet, ce mur de 120m2 grâce à un accord signé avec le propriétaire est peint presque chaque année par un nouvel artistes (ou un groupe d'artiste) pour embellir le quartier.
In 2022, the theme was the elements, (3 other walls were planned, I don't know if they were realized). And Abys chose the Earth. Superb work with its colors and shapes. Do you like it?

AX & Unknown
As promised in the introduction, here's a close-up of the collage done by AX, an artist from Lyon who likes to "spread smiles and positive vibes ” as he says on his Instagram account. And it's true that his characters are cheerful and simple. Just a little way down to the city center from "The hill that Works", nicknamed the Croix-Rousse, there were these two little characters who seem to be sleeping in their slippers. Very cute.
Comme promis en introduction, voilà un gros plan sur le collage de AX, artiste lyonnais qui aime "diffuser des sourires et des ondes positives" comme il le dit sur son compte Instagram. Et c'est vrai que ses personnages sont joyeux et simples. Juste un peu loin pour descendre vers le centre ville de la colline qui travaille, surnom de la Croix-Rousse, il y avait ces deux petits personnages qui semblent dormir dans leur chaussons. Très mignon.
