Art always invites us to stop, breathe and observe, at least that's what I feel and do every time I come across a striking art expression and if it's big and covers a wall or is in the middle of a street, all the more reason.
A few days ago I took a trip to a zoo I didn't know about, I went all over it or at least I think so. At the bottom of the mountain where it is located was a green water pond of crocodiles and at the end a wall full of colors, shapes and beautiful murals, its theme was about animals of course and what I liked the most is that some of these murals had two or more animal figures meshed.
The animals they depict are common and known all over the world. There are snakes, iguanas, tigers, frogs, cows and birds of different species, such as the swan or duck, eagle, toucan and macaw. The latter bird is native to and found in Central and South America. I am from Venezuela.
I had long wanted to participate in this street art contest, but I had not been lucky enough to find this kind of art, so when I saw this great mural, I immediately remembered this space. Choosing the image was a bit difficult because it was between the macaw and the toucan, beautiful birds of the Caribbean. In the end I decided on the macaw because I have always liked it for its variety of color, elegance and size, as they are large birds. The title of this post refers to what macaws are, they are living beings full of color.
With respect to this mural, it is also my choice because it was painted in a different way, it seems to have a 3D effect and does not look like the others, that day I had to get close and touch the wall to check that it was smooth, so for this realistic effect I congratulate the author although I do not know who he is, I did not find his signature anywhere. Decorating this wall with murals seems to me to have been a good decision. All the visitors were pleased to see it and took advantage of the opportunity to take pictures.
These murals are located in the Zooaquarium in Valencia, Carabobo State, Venezuela. I hope that my entry to the contest was to your liking and I hope to return soon.
