Living in the woods, collecting, fishing and hunting sounds appealing, at least in video games hahaha, that is the proposal of among trees on another occasion I talked a little about this game, but I want to highlight how nice it was to me on the occasions that I played it, although it is a game that I did not finish, and neither did its developers haha.
Advancing in this game is satisfying, we start in a cabin that we have to improve, having more rooms that will allow us to do more things, for this we have to collect quite a few, but it is not difficult or annoying, the game is so calm that doing it just entertains you.
The color proposal is a forest with many shades of blue for the shadows, which at times is quite dark, but at the same time feels very calm, and calm reigns in this place, all the scenarios that the game proposes to us are like this, the waterfall, the yellow forest, the river, it is super calm to walk through this place.
One of the things I like the most is how in certain scenarios the play with light makes the place something warm and comforting, a kind of safe place where you can not only rest but also generate more things to survive, because that's what the game is about, the greenhouse is the prettiest room, and when the afternoon sun shines it looks spectacular.
Going around the place allows us to see many things, there are old abandoned structures there, fallen, completely destroyed, but they are places of source of material that is renewed day by day, but they also leave many things unresolved, what happened in this place, were there people before?
On several occasions the game's proposal is interesting, if we go very far from home and we can't go back we can set up a camp, this must be built previously, but camping helps us to be able to replenish energy, this is an indicator that we must take care of, and at night you can hardly see anything, so we can only sleep.
A small house in the woods, a fox for company and a world about which we know little is the proposal. I really would have liked the game to be finished and not in the state of abandonment in which it is found. I think it will be a matter of looking for something similar at some other time.
