GAMING PHOTOGRAPHY-Surviving adversity.

When it comes to games, survival is the genre that attracts me the most. I don't like enemies like zombies or characters so much, but surviving in nature seems quite attractive to me. In my last time I've been playing The Long Dark in survival mode a lot since I'm up to date with the story and who knows when they'll give us the final chapter.

To choose where we're going to start, we have to take into account the experience, and each region since the difficulty will be a little different depending on the starting region. On this occasion, I decided to start at the mysterious lake with a female character.

There are many new issues such as a new disease that we're going to get if we don't eat vitamin C. Haha, where am I going to get vitamin C from is a big question since in The Long Dark there are no things to collect, but maybe it's one of the changes.

We're just going to survive, there's nothing else. I started in an area with nothing, so I had to walk a lot. It got dark. I spent the night outside. When I was able to find something, I was almost dead from the cold. I had managed to sleep a little in a cave.

This place was full of things, but it was not a place to live, I rested, got some equipment and continued on my way.

The railroad tracks are very important since we can connect the sections of the map, but sometimes we can make a mistake and go to a dangerous place.

The worst of all is that the weather is super changeable, and a storm can come up out of nowhere and that is how once again I was freezing to death and on the verge of dying, hungry and tired.

Following the path that was marked on the tower I found something that gave me a little more hope, but I had to walk a lot, I really thought I was going to die.

But I told them there was hope and that was how I saw a cabin in the distance, with only two days (in the game) I was able to get back, rest, get warm and replenish everything, water and food, finding many things with which to survive, like the lantern, a super useful item.

My exploration continued for a long time, I traveled quite a bit and went through several places on the map, I found a beautiful cabin and a fishing lake, but I decided to continue exploring more.

The desolate swamp was the place, I had forgotten that it was difficult and here is where everything started to go wrong hahaha, first I got lost, in the Long dark we don't have a compass and I don't have a location so when I entered and walked I lost it, I decided to continue forward and not go back, very bad idea.

I found a wagon where I could stay and make a fire, but the wolves didn't stop howling, so I continued on my way as soon as I could.

But all stories come to an end and the cold attacked me, walking on a frozen lake the ice broke, I was able to survive momentarily but I didn't get shelter or fire, tiredness attacked me again and my last resort was to use an adrenaline injection, but it didn't work, there was only ice to walk on, the ice broke again and the end was present.

Even though my adventure is over for now, that's what's interesting about The Long Dark, death can reach you in different ways and in all places, but we can always try again.
