adj. that which cannot be effed
I was putting together a real post when I found this amusing nanoparticle:
This Century Dictionary is onto something...
I call this kind of thing a technological absurdity
And it makes me smile
That would be absurd 𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕦𝕠𝕦𝕤 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕟𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 : ^ This is an utter fabrication. But it is the kind of thing you would have won playing that particular maze-themed gameshow
This dictionary was won by the author in a 1994 episode of A*mazing^
How in hell did this aberrant definition come to be? What's the story? Why did I see it? Why today? What particulars, what planets had to align to amplify the signal above the noise? Is it an accident? Is it the work of the world's most obscure troll? Who can say? Who knows?
Finally, why would anyone make a Hive post about it?
The Thesaurus of Horror
or, The charnelhouse explored!! : being an historical and philanthropical inquisition made for the quondam-blood of its inhabitants! by a contemplative descent into the untimely grave! shewing, by a number of awful facts that have transpired as well as from philosophical inquiry, the re-animating power of fresh earth in cases of syncope, &c. and the extreme criminality of hasty funerals: with the surest methods of escaping the ineffable horrors of premature interment!! The frightful mysteries of the dark ages laid open, which not only deluged the Roman Empire, but triumphed over all Christendom for a thousand years! Entombing the sciences, and subsequently reviving all the ignorance and superstition of Gothic barbarity! by John Snart. 1817
Nice title
Well it's getting late

If you know what I mean, I want to know you. There will be one, somewhere. Keep the absurdity flowing friend
The technological absurdity is ineffable (=too great or intense to be expressed in words). 😂😂😂
The lack of real human comments on the Hive blockchain is also ineffable. Sadly/unfortunately no one else is commented under this post, nor under many other posts.
I'm glad you enjoyed
I don't mind. If someone had something to say, they would. If not, I rather they don't force it. What good is commenting for comment sake? If you like something but have nothing in particular to say about it, well we have a way to express that: the humble upvote. I'm happy with that.
Besides, if human interaction is what you're after, the Internet isn't the best place to find that, in my opinion 😉

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
This is hilarious. I snorted. Milk would have come out of my nose, had I been drinking milk. 😁
😆
I went looking and found out today that The Century Dictionary is pretty old (last volume was published in 1906). Consequently, the book's in the public domain and many of the editions are available online. I thought I'd better look up the word ineffable and determine if this is the actual source of the absurdity
It's not
