RE: EDUCATIONAL STATUS OF MY COUNTRY NIGERIA: IS EDUCATION REALLY A SCAM?

in Humanitas4 months ago (edited)

I am of the opinion and so I understood from my few years in the faculty of education.
Schooling is not directly proportional to being educated. Schooling is primarily for literacy. You can know how to read and write.
When we talk about education, it's in totality and is not about reading and writing. Education is about the mind, the way we think, approach things and all like normal human beings.

Needless to say that a lot of school leavers still misbehave, they can't adhere to simple instructions even moral soundness is lacking. That's an uneducated literate. Yet we can still have an educated illiterate. He might not know how to handle a pen but is educated.
Schooling can only be seen as a part of education

So our problem in Nigeria is not school problem. School is the scam, education is not a scam
