I read your post in one breath almost. I have never heard about this tradition, but it is beautiful! Its importance and message are powerful, and the visual effect that the candles in the lanterns give is also so nice. However, what I liked most were your thoughts about the family and the love that unites it. Thanks to your post, I learned about this tradition, gracias :)

Thanks to you for visiting me and being so great 🌹❀️; I tell you that this holiday is a very Catholic-Christian tradition since Colombia is a country, religiously speaking, mostly inclined to these forms of spirituality. Candles will always connect us with that part of us that needs to be remembered and elevate us to that higher plane needed to be able to reinforce our life purpose; it is a very beautiful celebration and ritual and more so when you see families united in their homes or in the streets doing it, because that is allowed too, whoever wants to do it outside their home does it, plus the streets look very nice.

I'm glad you got to know this tradition through my post, it's something I do since I was a child and now more than ever, I will never stop doing it because of its power in family unity πŸ’–.... te mando un fuerte abrazo amiga mΓa y bendiciones para tu hogar πŸ™β€οΈ...
