Apis is the Latin word for Bee, and Bees live in Hives. Apis is pronounced appys like happy, exactly how Hive should be in an ideal world.
WHAT?
Growing your account successfully on Hive is a long process, it takes dedication, effort, persistence and integrity. There is no quick route. Some find this journey difficult if they start Hive with the wrong mind set. They get frustrated when their content gets no engagement or no support and give up very easily.
Apis Hive is an initiative designed to help small accounts (redfish) grow on Hive and support them on this journey. The target redfish are the genuine users who are active on Hive, produce original quality content and engage with the community. Most importantly, they have a long term vision to grow with Hive and are not here primarily for the rewards.
The initiative is designed to be a lengthy process so redfish can understand the long term benefits of staking their rewards and growing a successful Hive account. This also allows the rest of the community to get to know the redfish and vice versa, as building trust is important on Hive. The longer the redfish stays on the Apis Hive program, the easier it is for them to demonstrate their contribution to Hive and get support for the effort they put in.
HOW?
There are three parts to Apis Hive.
Gamification – this is the first stage of Apis Hive. Collect assets each day, upgrade them to higher level assets and watch your Hive account grow. This part of the initiative is designed to encourage users to have a long term view and stay active on Hive. More details can be found here.

Delegation – this is the second stage and objective of the gamification phase. The highest level of asset you can get are Honey Pots. These are HP delegations from @apis.hive. All we ask is that you stay true to the objectives of the initiative and keep your account in good shape.

Support – users can join our Discord and connect with other like minded users who have the same long term vision on Hive. We will offer support on the ins and outs of Hive, who, what, where, how, and help you with any questions you may have.
WHO?
The criteria to join the initiative is designed to be stringent but is not something that is difficult to achieve. To join the program your account needs to be
- rep 40 and above
- be active in posting, curating and engaging
- not participate on any form of abuse or create low quality content
- no self voting
- have at least 30 HP staked
- not powering down
- not liquidise any rewards
- not delegate out more than 30% of your staked HP
We want to support quality authors who have a long term view to grow on Hive. Experience has shown that those who stay on Hive for longer, potentially have a greater sense of belonging and desire to contribute and add value to Hive compared to those who are just in Hive to earn a fast buck.
HOW DO I JOIN THE APIS HIVE INITIATIVE?
It’s very simple. First, login to https://apishive.blog/ and start collecting and growing the Bees to get your Honey Pot. Second, join our Discord https://discord.gg/QgxzRzQRju so we know you’re here. And finally, as long as your account fits the program criteria, you’re good. If you don’t fit the criteria yet, feel free to still jump on our Discord to see how we can help you.
More information can be found here or just ask us on Discord. We look forward to building Hive with you.

Does sounds like an intresting idea and concept that i have seen a lot of like the @vocup and other curator groups
So good luck and i will be keeping an eye out on this :D
Thanks for your support!
As much as we could read from the post, this project sounds good to us, with very reasonable terms, community-supportive, and engagement-empowering that might help many (who would follow the rules) to grow their accounts very wisely.
According to the rules, we wouldn't be able to participate, but that doesn't mean that we can't support it.Thank you for the mention, @dadspardan! 😊
When it comes to a lot of other curator groups, we would like to stay on the fence as, besides many good ones, there are also many (especially among some more newly created) that are nothing else but better or worse masked/disguised pay-per-vote schemes which we are strongly against.

Curation guilds can add a lot of value to the chain if their objective is to help users instead of returns to delegators. Kudos for your work.
We agree with you entirely!
And thank you for the kind words regarding our work!

As a gamer, I love the idea to add more gamification to Hive; and if this is done to help new users, well, that's even better!
Thanks for your comment. We hope the gamification part will give users an incentive to work for their rewards and realise growing your account on Hive isn't that difficult
Happy to add any potentials to the BOT, it will only vote up if it passes the rules anyway :)
That's great news, thanks, double security there
You look cute and interesting!
Thanks, not a bad first comment for my debut on Hive 😄😆
This initiative looks excellent. I've reblogged and voted on this announcement to get it in front of new accounts, and I'm willing to do what I can to help users who have a long-term vision here or want to improve on Hive. I have joined the Discord server and will be there to share my experiences and answer questions when you are not always active 🙂
Thanks so much for your help @incublus, I really appreciate it, especially with your reach into different communities
Appreciated for such steps. I really loved the name. Bees working together in harmony. Buzzing, Working and Growing together.
That's the idea, working, supporting others and growing together
When I first saw the title, I thought this was yet another tool for developers (because of the word api 😂) This is a great initiative. I would like to know if I qualify to join Hive Apis, I have not been active in the past year and I believe this will be an opportunity for me to bounce back. I can also help market this project.
Yes, with hindsight maybe I should have used something like appy instead of api - that was pointed out to me after I had set up the website so it was too late to change it.
The program has certain criteria to ensure the support goes to those who are here for the long run and dedicated to help build Hive. If that's your goal, feel free to jump on Discord anytime
Sounds fun for new users! :D

Thanks, lets see how it goes!
I login to the website, so I can get some thingies and send them to Redfishes :D
Thanks a lot, just claim the daily Bee drop when you log in. It will help to test the site as well, although we have done a lot of it already, no harm in more 😀
I will I will ;)

Thanks Melinda. I know Ecency does a lot of great onboarding work, if there are any newbies who are here for the long run feel free to send them our way, I'm sure they can do with as much support as they are worth
There are lots of active newbies using Waves. Feel free to Wave the program there frequently to get max exposure. Waves quickly get buried so talk about it often.
I will use Ecency promote feature and spend some of my Points to promote your post for 3 days.
Much appreciated 👍

Yesterday I got the same error, but I re-tried today and it worked fine :)
Thanks for your support 👍
It's a mechanism we built in, will be updating that for new users soon.
Nice to meet you, Apis!
That sounds interesting, and I hope it will be a great motivator for people to look at HIVE as a social network and a place to grow! to engage with others, connect, and help each other—like bees! 😃
Good luck with the project!

Thanks so much for your support @phortun
The more support we redfish receive, the eager we interact to the hive blockchain.
Well, it works both ways because users also need to be active in engagement to raise their profile so people can support them 😉
In social media, there is an algorithm to support a creator who engaged with other. In our social network, hive, it's all organic.
I love this!! This is a great way to accompany newbies and support them for their long term journey. Thank you!
Thanks for your support @palomap3, just chipping in what I can do
This initiative sounds like a great way to grow and truly integrate into the Hive community! I appreciate the focus on long-term engagement, quality content, and community support rather than just short-term gains. As someone who is still learning the ins and outs of Hive, I’m excited to see how Apis Hive helps new users like me stay active and build a strong foundation. I joined hive a while ago but I am just now being able to actually participate. I look forward to being part of this journey! 🐝🚀
You did such an interesting intro post, what took you so long!! 😀
We'd be so glad to help you to build your account on Hive and look forward to your active participation in the community
Excellent initiative, I wish you much success as well as the participants, growing in Hive based on perseverance and daily commitment.

Thanks for your kind words
Such a kind initiative❤️ Being a newbie myself, I appreciate this alot. Will definitely be joining! Also, because the bees are very adorable
Thanks,we love the Bees ourselves!
Your Coldplay post was awesome, and we'd love to support you in the long run
Thank you so much! I love sharing my stories on the platform and reading others experiences too ❤️
i think this is a bit extreme. Mostly Hivers are not 100% powering up their HP and prefer a 50% HP and 50% liquidated reward in the form of HBD. Add that there is a liquid reward on the good comments recently.
50/50 is the default, 100% power up would be fantastic but we appreciate not many do it. When a user liquidise 100% of the rewards leaving no stake on Hive, it's not someone we would support as it's unlikely they have any long term vision on Hive

Cool if this is what you meant. I was confuse with what you said on one of your requirement. Thanks for clearing
No problems, glad I could clear up any confusion!
Great to see you go live and I will be sending any new good users your way.
Thanks @tengolotodo and thank you for helping to proof read our site

mmm.. sorry about that. If you can try again tomorrow. I'll make sure it's looked at on Monday
k, will do
I think this gamified approach may keep many people with smaller accounts engaged, especially if they are newer on Hive.
I hope it will, It is always nice to have an objective to work to, it makes things more interesting
Great initiative to support the genuine users. I'm on it.
Great to see you back after being away for a long time. Hopefully we can help you to stay around this time
Hope so. Thank you.
I love this new initiative, it will be a pleasure to join it...and especially because it is a wonderful opportunity to grow in Hive. Thank you
It's great to hear that, we look forward to your active participation in the program
It will be a great pleasure.

Be more specific, where do you draw the line to differentiate between low quality and high quality?
Where things are subjective you can't reallyl draw a line. The community's response is probably the best indicator of a post's quality
But you are drawing a line so this:
Isn't being implied no?
From the community you say. But what of the apis team? Surely you don't just let what the herd says is good quality as being good quality, you must have some metrics involved no?
One could have a great post and still be given great flak for being honest to himself.
Where is in the posts. What makes its quality low?
Does this include 2nd layer tokens?
Apis Hive focuses on Hive only, not the 2nd layer
Great 😃👍
Hello, the start at @hive has been complex but here I have found the opportunity to grow because I like to write about various topics. I've only been around 2 months and what I've read on this blog and in @livinguktaiwan's post has been vital for my growth. thank you ❤
Hive can be quite confusing but if you have the adequate support it gets a lot easier. Please do join our discord and Apis Hive program and let's see how we can help your with your Hive journey

Gracias @gwajnberg por comentarme sobre esta iniciativa, voy a adherirme si califico!
Is this connected with the BEE token somehow? @apis.hive
No it isn't.
