The month is over, the goal of publishing every day has been achieved, thus maintaining my streak with effort on my part. Effort to reach the 31st and be able to say that everything that had to be done, was done. If there was a boss in my life, he should be proud of me, but since there isn't, it's me and I congratulate myself.

I overcame dressmaker stress, upgraded an outfit I thought I would eat alive haha made plans for the year in my life, in hive and unloaded some emotions I had stagnant and needed to put them into words.

Faltan casi 24 hs para la primera presentación y se leen mensajes del tipo “¿alguien tiene flecos?” “necesito plumas” “consiguieron cordones?” Al final es formar parte de una familia que aunque quiera hacer todo durante el año, llegado enero nos acordamos que algo falta. Si no fuese así, no seríamos murgueros, y ahí van otros a ayudar, claramente.

Actually I still have two ribbons to sew, some buttons to glue and finish putting everything in the bag, but the list has been completed in its entirety. Tomorrow we will have to take a shower and go out in search of the make-up, the order of the drums, the instruments and of course, the costumes. All of us are ready to go out to the porteño neighborhoods that enjoy the carnival.

Verdaderamente me quedan dos cintas que coser, unos botones que pegar y terminar de guardar todo en el bolso, pero la lista se ha cumplido en su totalidad. Mañana nos quedará una ducha y salir en busca del maquillaje, el orden de los bombos, los instrumentos y claro, los trajes. Todos formados para recorrer los barrios porteños que disfrutan el carnaval.
As I write this I think that as a lifestyle it is amazing, on the one hand it fills us with courage, it teaches us to create (musically, in our costumes, in the way we dance) while it also teaches us to develop in a group, in community, to arrive early to respond with that simple act to the respect that requires that a group is not delayed by a single member. It teaches us responsibility, companionship, self-care and mutual care. It gives us a hug at the end, and a push at the beginning, it gives us a mirror in which to recognize ourselves, because as individuals it is difficult, but as a group, if each one recognizes his own sowing, he will know what the garden will be full of.

Mientras escribo esto pienso que como estilo de vida es alucinante, por un lado nos llena de coraje, de valor, nos enseña a crear (musicalmente, en nuestros trajes, en la forma de bailar) mientras que también nos enseña a desenvolvernos en grupo, en comunidad, a llegar temprano para responder con ese simple acto al respeto que requiere que un grupo no se retrase por un solo integrante. Nos enseña responsabilidad, compañerismo, cuidado propio y mutuo. Nos brinda un abrazo al final, y un empujón al principio, nos regala un espejo en el que reconocernos, porque como individual es difícil, pero en conjunto, si cada uno reconoce su propia siembra, sabrá de qué estará lleno el jardín.

I leave you a huge hug, thank you always for putting up with me, giving me support and encouraging words, I find too many things in this area of my life and it is not easy to get along with everything. Les dejo un abrazo enorme, gracias siempre por aguantarme, brindarme apoyo y palabras alentadoras, encuentro demasiadas cosas en este ámbito de mi vida y no es fácil congeniar todo. Aún así, seguiré haciendo mis mejores intentos por explicarlo lo mejor posible y compartir el estilo de vida que abriga mi corazón, esperando que al menos una sonrisa se dibuje en su rostro, o la intriga quizás.
