Exercising Body and Mind

A greeting full of good vibes, Lifestyle friends! Today I want to share with you what my last Sunday was like.

I usually exercise with my bike, especially because it is the means of transportation I use to go to my work which is about 10 minutes from home, however I wanted to do something different, and is that not necessarily require this element to perform physical activities.

I believe that when there is will even people with limited economic resources, or with some health condition can perform some activity to get your body moving and get out of sedentary lifestyle, such as walks and walks outdoors or as in my case in this opportunity to include exercises in outdoor gyms that can be found around the city.

Last weekend I went to the Parque del Ejercito, better known as Las Ballenas, where there are several outdoor gym complexes available to visitors, in addition to the walking trails.

Among the exercises I did were an initial warm-up and stretching, a brisk walk to activate the cardiovascular system and then upper, middle and lower body exercises with the help of the machines found in the park. I wanted to resume physical activity a little more seriously because I have noticed that I have gained a little weight, and this is mainly due to an eating disorder due to anxiety processes that I sometimes have. We should not underestimate the power of the mind and we should pay attention to what it communicates to us in order to take action on the matter.

I hope that those who do not exercise at all are encouraged to practice some physical activity, and for those who are always active, I wish them a lot of motivation to continue doing something important for their health. Thanks for joining me here, see you next time.

Así es, contar con esas máquinas es una ventaja. El parque en general es ideal para hacer diversas actividades físicas.

Hola amiga me encanta tu enfoque hacia la actividad física y cómo resaltas que no se necesitan grandes recursos para mantenerse en movimiento. El hecho de que aproveches espacios como los gimnasios al aire libre y senderos demuestra que la voluntad es clave para cuidar la salud.

Además, es importante hablar sobre la conexión entre la mente y el cuerpo, como mencionas con el tema de la ansiedad y la alimentación. Hacer ejercicio no solo ayuda físicamente, sino que también tiene un impacto positivo en la salud mental.

Es así, la conexión cuerpo mente siempre está allí, por eso es bueno cuidarnos y dedicar un tiempo a la actividad física.
