Exploring Nature Together: A Tale of Two Curious Cats

I don’t want to sound redundant, but I just have to share the joy of the results from letting my kitties walk unleashed, which was posted a few weeks ago.

I’ve been taking them to the woods alternately, as I wasn’t sure how they’d behave if they were unleashed together. I was worried they might team up and dart off, making it difficult for me to lead them home.

But a couple of weeks ago, I decided not to take either of them. As I was on my way to the woodland, I couldn’t believe my eyes—Coco and Blu were eagerly running toward me, staring as if to say, “Why aren’t you taking us?”

I waited for them to catch up, but I felt unsure about taking them both together. I’ve realized how much cats love their routines. They seem to notice when something isn’t normal.

By the time we reached the entrance to the woods, it was too late to turn back, so I decided to carry on and they followed me around the woods.

Then, I led them to a spot where they could safely play and explore.

Watching them settle into the routine and enjoy the moment made me so happy.

It felt like everything had fallen into place—what I used to alternate between them was now happening all at once, and they absolutely loved it.

They climbed trees together, carefully waiting for each other as they went higher.

At one point, Blu wandered off on his own as he could be an overexcited boy outdoors.

While Coco stayed beside me, calmly.

I called for Blu to join us, and in his typical vocal style, he meowed hilariously while bounding his way back to us.

We stayed for a while, and it was such a joy to watch them discover the world around them. And so entertaining to see their differences in behaviour.

Seeing them adapt and thrive while doing what they enjoy most is heartwarming.

Coco is never shy about doing her thing, Hehe!

When it was time to head home, they both followed me back without hesitation.
