Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning, with my two kitties begging to go outside. I decided to join them and sow the seeds I got a few weeks ago from the local garden center.
I have catnip and cat grass.
As they love the garden and the grass, I thought it would be nice to plant some around so they can enjoy more their time outdoors this spring and summer.
Catnip makes cats playful and excited due to nepetalactone’s euphoric effect, while cat grass aids digestion, helps pass hairballs, and satisfies their natural urge to graze.
I filled a couple of old plant pots with soil
Hey kitties, sowing time!
One for the catnip and the other for the cat grass.
They had a great time "helping" me sow the seeds!
I covered them to keep them moist until they sprout and to keep the birds away.
The rest of the seeds I scattered around the borders of the garden, where I'll just let them grow wild since they won’t be in my way.
The strong scent of catnip sent one of them into a frenzy, playing and rolling around on the grass.
As I sowed the rest around the house, my two little companions followed me everywhere!
It was a lively start to the morning for all of us.
It’s nice to do something that benefits our pets, who brighten our days in so many ways.

I think this little babies helping you so that when they grow they can freely play with that cat grass later 😆✨✨. They are so cute, just having them around can bring lots of fun while you're enjoying with your task 😆😆

I think gardening will be better with little helpers. I've got some cats too so maybe might try working with them, not on gardening though but something else
