NEIPA for a well-deserved refreshment after doing the housework

in BEER6 hours ago

Like every weekend, ie every Saturday, I have some chores to do to help my partner.
Because housework is not exclusively for women?
Do you agree with me, my dear beer drinkers, from the male part of the population?
We can always do all or part of those jobs, strong hands in the house 😀

This Saturday morning while I'm waiting for her to come home from work, I tackled the big preparation.

I take off the curtains and put them to wash. During this time, I wash the windows from the inside and outside, water the flowers on the terrace and our orchids.

While the curtains are being washed, I vacuum the entire apartment and wipe the dust (I also reach some inaccessible spots in the apartment that I know have been skipped).

Once the curtains are washed, comes the hardest part - hanging the curtains with hundreds of little hooks.

This is an activity that makes me quite tired, but when I stop and the refreshing smell of fabric softener from freshly washed curtains spreads, I'm glad I made the effort.

And all that effort made me thirsty.
I have plans for later, so I have to be careful and not overdo it with the amount of alcohol I'm going to consume, but I deserved at least one #Beer 🙂

Although my partner is not here, I think she would agree that I deserved to refresh myself with one.

But which one?
I drank the last cans I had in reserve and just mentioned these, which I thought I'd give away. For the day before #BeerSaturday

However, when I unpacked the box and saw how beautiful this glass was, I knew, this package is not going to be a gift.
It stays with me.

A beautiful glass, interestingly shaped for IPA beers, branded with the sign of the Monyo brewery from Budapest, I liked it so much that I washed and dried it to taste just one can of my choice.

Out of these four, I chose the Cybef Rabbit.

Cyber Rabbit is a classic NEIPA that has been double hopped with Citra, Mosaic El Dorado and Centennial varieties and the result is a misty, hazy looking NEIPA with a silky and thick mouthfeel. Tropical fruits dominate in both aroma and taste. Complex, ripe fruity aromas getting balanced by a bit of bitterness and dry finish.

The ingredients of unfiltered beer are water, barley malt, wheat malt, wheat flakes, hops and yeast.

When pouring, it gives an extremely high foam that lasts for a few moments. This was to be expected, as foam came out of the can after opening even though the can was not shaken.

The foam in the glass holds just enough for you to taste it and enjoy the aromas and flavors at the first contact of your lips with the beer, while your nose is deep in the glass.

It has 5.8% alcohol, so it's not the strongest I've ever drunk, but it's enough to relax you a little without overdoing the amount of alcohol. Has moderate bitterness and beautiful yellow color.

The way the beer looks visually in this glass contributes to the complete impression of pleasant refreshment with this beer. Really beautiful.

Now, after a beer, with all the sensors in my mouth still analyzing all the remaining flavors, I'm signing off for the week.

And I want you to enjoy this weekend and the coming week, and share your #BeerSaturday selection with us.

Cheers!
