Here's my entry for BeerSaturday 397 with a Landbier brewed in Quebec by Nano Cinco. It's La Platiste, a collaboration between the music group Alaclair Ensemble and the brewery.

Nano Cinco was founded by four great beer lovers Paul Simon, Mathieu Pelletier, Éloi Paradis-Deschênes and William Berton. They brewed for over 5 years in their own home. In 2022, they finally had their own premises with two brewing systems to produce two types of beer at the same time, including one of only 300 liters to continue experimenting.This is the brewery's fourth beer presented for #BeerSaturday. Nano Cinco a été fondée par quatre grands amateurs de bière Paul Simon, Mathieu Pelletier, Éloi Paradis-Deschênes et William Berton. Ils ont brassé pendant plus de 5 ans directement chez eux. En 2022, ils ont enfin leurs propres locaux avec deux systèmes de brassage pour réaliser deux types de bières en même temps dont une de seulement de 300 litres pour continuer à expérimenter.Il s'agit de la quatrième bière de cette brasserie présentée pour le #BeerSaturday. 🍺 Tasting / Dégustation :
La Platiste is a Quebec Landbier with 4.2% alcohol. For the record, Landbier is a light beer of German origin brewed with local ingredients. So for this beer, the grains and hops are from Quebec, with Pislner and Vienna malt from Innomalt in the Eastern Townships, Chit malt from Malbroue in the Lower St. Lawrence, and Cascade hops from the Lupuline hop farm in the Outaouais region. I like it when the origin of the ingredients is clearly indicated (although I can't tell the difference when tasting 😀). In the glass, there's a beautiful, slightly orange color topped by a fine white head. On the palate, the beer is light and easy to drink, with a hint of citrus. It drinks well but without the wow effect.
La Platiste est une Landbier québécoise avec 4.2 % d'alcool. Pour info, la landbier est une bière légère d'origine allemande brassée avec des ingrédients de la région. Donc pour cette bière, les grains et les houblons sont québécois avec le Pislner et le Vienna malt d'Innomalt en Estrie, le Chit malt de Malbroue au Bas Saint-Laurent, puis le houblon Cascade de l'houblonnière Lupuline en Outaouais. J'aime quand l'origine des ingrédients est clairement indiquée (bien que je ne fasse pas la différence lors de la dégustation 😀 ). Dans le verre, on a belle robe légèrement orangée surmontée d'une fine mousse blanche. En bouche, on a une bière légère et facile à boire avec une petite note d'agrumes. Cela se boit bien mais sans effet wahoo.
Design
The brewery's design Nano Cinco is often the same, with a drawing on the front and a detailed description of the beer on the back. For the Platiste design, I understand the pie-shaped Earth with water pouring out of one edge with the myth of flat Earth. But for the Moon with that huge flag in the shape of a bill, I'm still looking 🤔. If anyone has any ideas... It's also a collaboration with the Quebec hip-hop music group Alaclair Ensemble, quite well known in the Province. I've included one of their songs at the end of the post.
Le design de la brasserie Nano Cinco est souvent le même avec un dessin en avant et à l'arrière, une fiche détaillée de la bière. Pour le dessin de la Platiste, je comprends la Terre en forme de tarte dont l'eau s'écoule d'un bord avec le mythe de la Terre plate. Mais pour la Lune avec cet énorme drapeau en forme de billet, je cherche encore 🤔. Si quelqu'un a un idée... Il s'agit aussi d'une collaboration avec le groupe québécois de musique hip-hop Alaclair Ensemble, assez connu dans la Province. Je vous ai mis en fin de post une de leur chanson.
