RE: My pursuit of hoppy-ness didn't end (so) gracefully.

in BEERlast year

oh, come on @ak08... I only just wrote it randomly with only the slightest information about beers lol I wish i could tie-in beer history like yours :)

I must thank you for inviting me to join this challenge! It was fun to have to think off your feet sometimes :) I did find myself sometimes have no idea what to post here on hive and your suggestion came at perfect time! Please let me know if there's more.

btw, Bana Hills is really cool and the weather there, since it's on the mountain, was so cold and nice. That's my favorite thing up there, oh apart from this beer fest of course. 😂

Are you really gonna just leave me hanging and not teach me how to be a better content creator?! 😂

You're very welcome! I'm sure that the BEER Community would enjoy your post as much as I did and your participation would surely delight @detlev 😊

Yeah I will definitely visit because of the Beer Fest and not the rides! FYI I can't stand those rides, they are too much for my weak heart 😖😅

haha just kidding! I'd love to share it with you of course! I just not sure how to start.. Hmmm maybe if you could help me specify and point the part that you thought I did well, and I could start from that?

A Magician Never Reveals His Secrets!

Hahaha nice one there! 😂

I feel that my current writing style resembles storytelling, and while it's easy to comprehend and visually appealing, it might not effectively captivate readers or establish a strong personal connection. It could be a result of how I was taught to write in school, primarily focusing on formal essay writing. I've been actively working on altering my writing style to make it more engaging and relatable to the readers. Hopefully I get there soon! 😁

Ahh got it! Well, honestly I'm working on the same thing! Since English is not my first language, I too was writing like just plainly put one thing after another. Hmm I guess how I've tried to make it more engaging is that I tried my best to put "me" in my writing. Like how I would tell this story to one of my friends and how expressive I was. I guess I kinda used that in to blogging.

Anyway, I already found your work amazing! And it's so good to see that you want to improve them even more. Can't wait to witness them. :))

Your command in the English language is already pretty impressive considering it isn't your first language! It seems that I struggle with making my writing feel casual. I often find myself reverting to a more formal style, resembling an essay I need to submit or a structured piece. Blogging is certainly a fresh experience for me! 😅

This statement, coming from you feels really good, thank you and I appreciate that 😊
