So we had a busy weekend RV camping at Bodega Bay.

We took our RV to Bodega Bay for a camping trip and a 40th Birthday Party. So I will start with the birthday party which was for my friend Carl. The birthday party was held in Bodega Harbour county club. It was a nice place with views of Bodega Bay and the Pacific Ocean. While we were there we enjoyed some Sierra Nevada Pale ale. Sierra Nevada has become as common as Budweiser or Miller Beer, however it started as one of the first mass produced craft beers. Still a nice beer to enjoy at events such as a birthday party.

The Bodega Harbour Country Club was set in the center of the golf course and had great food and a well stocked bar.
The party ended around 7PM and we headed back to our RV. The RV park was nice and set on the edge of the harbour. Bodega Bay is known for its delicious restruants which almost all serve seafood. However, upon returning to the RV the nearby restraunt was barbequeing ribs that smelled great so of course had to have some of those. As the night went on we sat near our firepit enjoying some different whiskeys that we had brought along with some of our friends.
The next day we woke and I took the dogs for a walk. Both of our dogs are Siberian Huskies and the older black and white one is a male named Timber and he is 2 years old this weekend. The grey and black one is a female named Smokey and she is 4 months old.
While we were walking and I had to take a picture of Smokey in a sharks mouth.
And my wife wanted a picture of me with the dogs in front of some carved whales.
Lastly, we saw a fisherman walking his ducklings to his fishing boat.
We went out for a late lunch at the Tides Wharf restaraunt and it was excellent. The Tides Warf restaraunt was used in the Alfred Hitchcock film "The Birds". we started with a sampler of smoked fish, calamari, and artichoke. Then I had scallops and chips while my wife had calamari Dore. I had a had a local Pale Ale while I was there unfortunately I can't remember the name, but it was good. I did internet searches but could not find it. I called the restaraunt and found that it was Crooked Goat Brewing out of Sebastopol, California that made the pale ale called Tomahawk. I was also suprised that I had been to that brewery previously. The pale ale was really good and worth another trip.

We headed back to the RV after some shopping and started a fire in the fire pit. We played a few games of axe throwing at the back of the RV with our friends and then drank beer and whiskey the rest of the night.
While around the campfire we enjoyed some Vodoo Ranger beers.
I haver had the Juice Force before and liked it and again loved this one. I had never had the Hop Raider but liked that just as much. I have found anything from New Belgium Brewing that is part of there Voodoo Ranger line I like. I think the brewer has similar taste to mine and brews beer I would brew.
So as the weekend came to an end our puppy was exhausted.
Our older guy not so much.
We loaded up to head for home and made one last stop at the Washoe House for our last Bodega Bay lunch. The Wahoe House has been around since 1859. The bar ceiling is coverd with dollar bills probably dating back just as far.

You can't goof too wrong with Voodoo Ranger
They make so many but I have not had a bad one.
