Good day to all, hivers. It’s nice to meet you all. Just kidding, I mean I’m back once again for my another blog which is related to the best ceremonies which gives and makes in every students feel that they have the best memories they’ve spent all throughout these years. It was a blessings to all of them that they’re finally surpassed their challenges and obstacles that they faced. Oh, and anyways, this blog that I’m going to is our duties and responsibilities that we lead at this kind event which is the graduation of all the 4th Year Students Batch 2022-2023, together the 2nd Year ACT Students.
They all said that Graduation is the conferring of every graduate students who receives their degree or diploma in their school. Not only to that, this graduation is the best moments to all students to feel the hapiness that they went through together, but the same time, parting and saying goodbye to their fellow teachers and classmates with their unforgettable and precious memories they have with each other.
But what am I really doing here and how did I know and witnessed their graduation?
This is the reason why I witnessed their graduation. We, the NSTP Officers are given an authority to lead our dear our graduates students through doing this kind of performance that what it is called a Cross Sword. It is a kind of formal activity that is used in every ceremonial events like wedding, funeral or any other kind of events that this cross sword should be formal to use. Well, actually this is our first time, together with my buddies, perform this wonderful formal events in our lives. But you know what, even though this is our one of the most easiest thing to perform, but this would also be considered as the hardest one to properly execute.
Well, here's our drafts of practice that we did before this occasional event happens...
So this is it.... Of course, before this event were having our practice in order to make our performance to be properly perform and execute. But sometimes, me and my buddies we’re having a hard time in performing and executing it for we’re to follow what was instructed by our seniors who trained us, like we’re gonna wait 10-15 mins. before we will proceed to change using our hands so that we will not get tired. But lucky me, I can stay still it by properly perform and execute it within just 10-15 mins., but I can really feel so much pain and pressure when I properly down my sword. But I can also felt worried to my buddies who have a hard time in performing and executing it, but at least, we managed to do it all together. Oh, I forget, the other pictures that I have is the formation we’ve doing everytime we’re having a practice in cross sword. The male who was facing us are our NSTP coordinator who was giving us some tips regarding to our execution in cross sword. As you’ve noticed, we all listening to him carefully in order to analyze and remember his tips that was told to us. (I also almost forgot that this NSTP coordinator was also in this Hive PH community..🤭)
Now let’s just skip to the good part...
Tantararannnn, tantararann rann2x.... Opssiee, I was just kidding. So this is the venue of our event. The graduation hasn’t started yet, as you notice in this picture. All of the students are on the outside, preparing themselves while waiting for the event to start, as well as the teachers and admins who are also waiting. While the DRRMO Officers, ushers and we, the NSTP Officers (Colors, Banners and Cross Swords) are also on the inside, preparing while fixing ourselves together with preparing the materials that we need to perform in this event. Phewsss, I was a little bit nervous at this moment but at the same time feels excitement as we are all waiting for the signal as a sign of starting the program. Someof us here still fixing themselves and waiting for my other buddies to come while me, I’ve catch a little time in capturing this picture for the preparation of this event. (I wonder why it was taken more than 8 mins. to start the program. Phewss, I was still sitting here.)
While we are waiting for the event signal in order to start the event, we planned in gathering together in order to pray and ask our Almighty God for help and guide as we’re going to perform this kind of peformance in about minutes, to give us some strength and courage in order to properly perform and execute in this kind of event. Thanks to one of oir seniors here, we really did because most of us here are already felt nervous.
Tantararann... Oh this is it! The emcee is finally gives us the signal to start the program and here we are now, ready to properly perform and execute our cross sword in fornt of everyone. We perform it properly with all tension as we marched through in front of the stage. (Wow, our uniforms are really neat and nice. It also fits to the lights inside of this event.) Now, after we did it to the front of tbe stage, we give our best in performing our sword as we lead the graduates as they passed us performing our sword to the entrance and went to their proper sits. Oh, allow me for a while to share something. During in performing our swords, as we exhange our positions using our hands, I have a hard time in my gloves because everytime I exchange, the gloves was also loose and it was almost fall out of my hands in the middle of our performance. Luckily, one of the graduates noticed it and secretly holds my hands to fix my gloves. I, together with my buddies and other seniors, still in tension as we perform the innocation and flag ceremony before we made it to exit.
Phewsss... Yehey, we really made it to the exit. (But, wait there’s still a recessional we should going to perform. But for now we should take rest first.) Our hands really numb and in pain due to our performance, but at least, still, we managed to perform it properly. Now, it’s time to rest and eat some snacks while the graduation was still going. After our performance, we went to area to take a rest there for a minute, and then got a strength to captured this event. As you notice in this picture that I’ve captured, this event was include announcing the graduates to get their diplomas together their awards that they have throughout the years of studying at the Bacolod City College, those Magna Cumlaude students who are having their speech, their pledge and lastly, their graduation song. While I was watching at the scene, I can see the happiness coming from all students who are really proud that they made it. Well, even though I’m a little bit tired in performing our sword, but watching this scene can also make relieve (as I was imagining what kind of happiness we’re be if we are in this kind of situation).
Yaysss, now we are here to the last part of the moment here in this wonderful event. After we’re now having energy on our rest, we perform again our cross sword but this time, it was now the recessional, leading the event that was finally to be adjourned. And now, it’s picture time!! After the recessional, we hurriedly find our seniors (1st Class who are now already graduates), to gather together to take a picture, as having the last memories with them. (Whaaa, I was almost crying at that time because they’re starting to part their ways to start a new life, and I really miss them a lot).
And now, before I end my blog...
Opsieee... This picture got bloofers. Whaaa, I don’t know what are the others doing at that moment but at least, this bloofers are one the funniest moments I’ve got in this picture.
Now, I would like to thank you for this wonderful memories that I’ve got in my life. If I didn’t voluntarily join the cross sword, maybe I would regret that I didn’t experience this in my lifetime.
I almost forgot that tomorrow is my graduation in being a newbie in this community. I would wait for it..🥰
