Comenzó la esperada segunda fase de la UEFA Champions League, ya se ha disputado los la primera jornada de los encuentros de ida por los octavos de final de esta gran competición de clubes y a pesar del atractivo Derby de Madrid disputado en El Bernabéu, creo que la goleada que propinó el Arsenal FC al PSV Eindhoven, es si no ninguna duda un signo de lo que es hasta el momento está nueva etapa en la Champions, en dónde podrán existir encuentros igualados, pero también divertidas y muy entretenidas goleadas.
El resultado de 7 goles a favor de los Gunners contra un solo gol anotado por el PSV, es lo que menos esperada de este enfrentamiento, ya que consideré que posiblemente existiría una cierta igualdad y eso era más que nada por los resultados que ha obtenido el Arsenal en las últimas jornadas por la Premier League y más que nada por la falta de delanteros, es lo que me hizo pensar que posiblemente el equipo de Arteta no se le haría fácil concretar las muchas opciones de gol que siempre crean, pero siendo oportunista, me refiero al saber el resultado final de este primer encuentro, es notorio que el staff técnico de ese equipo ha trabajado adecuadamente para superar (por los momentos) la deficiencia de gol.

La táctica impuesta por el Arsenal, trae de vuelta la idea de "El Falso 9", eso al usar nuevamente a Mikel Merino como delantero centro, pero la realidad es que este jugador puede ocupar muchas posiciones haciendo que los defensores centrales del equipo rival pierdan esa referencia y no saben a quién seguir en las jugadas de ataque del Arsenal, esa función la realizó de manera magistral el mediocampista español, lo cual fue secundado por un trabajo mejor por parte de los dos jugadores que ocuparon las posiciones de interior derecho e izquierdo, me refiero a Ødegaard (derecha) y Rice (izquierda); cabe destacar que el jugador inglés terminó con una asistencia y el noruego anotó dos goles y realizó una asistencia, pero no solo fueron hechos tres quienes dieron valor a esta táctica, ya que hay que destacar a ambos extremos, Trossard y Nwaneri, quienes también anotaron un gol cada uno y originaron jugadas que terminaron en goles; a todos ellos sumo el excelente trabajo de los laterales, también izquierdo y derecho, los titulares y uno de los suplentes, todos contribuyeron a la ofensiva con asistencias y goles, en mi opinión fue el trabajo más importante en este esquema ideado por Arteta y demás del cuerpo técnico.

Es muy cierto que todo lo sucedido en ese juego fue muy influenciado por la pasividad y errores del rival, un equipo que recibe 3 goles en el primer tiempo y cuatro en el segundo, deja una impresión lamentable, pero creo que fueron superados por el sorpresivo trabajo del rival; la idea de jugar sin un delantero centro que fije a los centrales y que haga un trabajo predecible para los extremos y defensores laterales creo que sacó del juego al PSV, nunca entendieron a quien seguir o defender, pero repito, esto no es debido a mal juego del club local, lo sucedido en el encuentro de ida entre esos dos clubes, fue virtud del Arsenal que sus jugadores tuvieron la precisión y rapidez de pasarse la pelota lo cual dejó sin opción a un rival, lo otro que me sorprendió fue la concentración de los jugadores que por muchos momentos sabían qué hacer, dónde posicionarse, a quien deberían seguir al momento de defender y mejor aún, en qué momento atacar y creo que eso fue la gran diferencia entres estos equipos, en dónde el Arsenal posiblemente fue subestimado por su rival al que para muchos ya lo consideran un club eliminado y, en cambio, al otro, parece que deberá pensar en qué hotel lujoso madrileño hospedarse para su visita en los próximos encuentros por los cuartos de final.

Una goleada que situa al Arsenal en los 4tos de final, muy buen resultado para un equipo que está teniendo una temporada nada placentera por lesiones y resultados adversos, pero por lo menos sigue compitiendo en la UCL.

Muy buen análisis estimado amigo y un golpe sobre la mesa del club inglés que desde hace algunas temporadas viene teniendo buenas actuaciones en la premier y tiene un buen equipo y un técnico muy capaz.
No creo que el PSV le de la vuelta a este encuentro y, el Arsenal ha dado un paso gigantesco hacia los cuartos de final.

Así mismo, un resultado que le hace tomar con precaución el juego de vuelta, dar descanso a jugadores en especial a los amonestados el día de ayer, ya que las tarjetas amarillas se limpian para cuartos de final.
