ENGLISH
I've only been on Hive about 6 months, but I have had a ton of 'highlight reel' moments in that short time. @danielvehe invited me to participate in @rutablockchain 's initiative: "My Best Moment In Hive."
Following in Daniel's footsteps, I'll share my top three hive moments here. And even though I view all moments as 'part of my journey', I guess I can pick three noteworthy ones. Here we go:
1.Setting records as a newbie.
In my first two weeks on Hive, I was shocked at how complicated Hive was, and how little comprehensive guides existed. So although I was as green as a newborn babe...
...I made my own Hive guide.
I poured an insane amount of time, energy, and love into it, (I was told I was the first person to break Hive's character post-limit!) and it paid off.
My hive guide absolutely crushed it here on Hive. Part one earned 480 Hive, and part two earned 261 Hive, totaling about 741 Hive. The guide was heavily curated, and together they earned about 500 comments total and they still get linked, tagged, and commented on regularly.
All this was accomplished while I had about 29 followers as a total Hive-newbie.
It felt great to have my content so affirmed, validated, and rewarded.
I felt like the “rookie upstart” in a Hollywood sports movie who comes in and upsets the over-comfortable veterans, lol.
It was just the beginning of the memorable moments for me, which leads me to the second moment that made my list.
2. Gaining haters.
People think haters are a bad thing. But I love ‘em. How many haters do you have?
Well, I have a noteworthy number of haters.
I won't tag them and draw their oh-so-divine attention (even though doing so would boost this post's visibility lol!) but there's at least ten I can recall (and even more people who suddenly 'stopped reading' me for one reason or another… Perhaps because a truth-bomb I dropped rubbed their ego the wrong way, perhaps my posts were 'too long', perhaps they believed gossip about me, perhaps they misunderstood my points, whatever the reason I don’t really care.)
But get this… I write incredibly kind, positive, uplifting things.
I write valuable, helpful, eye-opening things. I write deep truths with love, and although I occasionally use directness that people feel borders on arrogance… still, anyone who bothers to read my content carefully and attentively usually picks up on my kind intentions.
But no matter how positively anyone contributes to a platform, if you're making any kind of splash, haters will project their own misguided perspectives on you. This is part of living life on a planet of 8 billion people.
I could probably choose to live as a hermit, isolated and bothering no one, and someone would still hate on me for 'not contributing to society' like I should be. There's literally no way to please everyone.
And it’s good that pissing people off is unavoidable.
Because the heroes and influencers we look up to all gained haters by making a splash. Anyone who makes a splash gets haters, and anyone who has zero impact, gets zero critics.
Whether we're talking about Jesus or Jay Z, legendary people are the ones who manage to get the world's attention. They manage to get fans, and for every 100 fans or so, they usually get 1 hater.
So I see it as a badge of honor and a giant sign-post that I'm doing the right thing if I can make such a splash on Hive that in less than half a year I already have 10+ haters acting like I'm the worst thing to happen to Hive. (Though hilariously, some can't seem to find the block/mute button and still follow me and consume my content.)
Haters latch onto people who are going places, all the while pouring their energy into mostly useless vitriol.
So let’s see how many haters I can get as I ryze to the top. ;)
And that leads me to another moment that sticks out in my head and is worth talking about...
3. Writing almost a million characters on Hive in 6 months.
Did you know a Hive-post has a character limit of 64,000 characters (it’s actually slightly less, I stop at 58,000 characters just to be safe)? This generally works out to something like 9,000 words. And as far as I know, I’m the first person outside of Hive-coders to discover this fact, haha.
Now… I'm not the biggest fan of putting my thoughts into text.
I've run many blogs in my past and thought I'd 'closed' that chapter of my life. In fact, I'm not a fan of communicating with most humans in general, because I see communication as an artform worth mastering, one generally ignored and undertaught, which means I'm often putting 'pearls before swine' (no offense anyone, lol!)
I prefer talking one-on-one with people so they aren't skimming my words and I can ‘cut-off’ their knee-jerk reactions before they rant obsessively for ages about something they misunderstood, projected, or took out of context.
Despite all that, somehow Hive has inspired me to write almost a million characters in half a year. I’ve written...
- 19,000 word guides on successful communication: Why No One Reads What You Write: A Masterclass In Communication
- 17,000 word guides on how to be smarter: How To Be Smarter (George's Guide) Pt. 1
- 16,000+ word guides on joining and using Hive: Hive: A Complete Beginner's Guide (With Fun Doodles)
- 14,000 word guides on censorship, free speech, & downvotes: Freedom, Censorship, & You: The Ultimate Guide (Emma's Dilemma) Pt. 1 and a 14,000 word crypto-glossary: How Well Do You Speak Crypto? (Beginner Cryptionary A-L)
- 9,000+ word guides on a game I've never even played: A Fun Guide To Playing (& Winning) Splinterlands (Even Though I Haven’t Played It) and 9,000+ words on law of attraction: Confusing Law Of Attraction Terms: Explained (Properly!)
- 8,000+ words on why girls run the world: Why Girls Run The World (Except For One Key Thing)
- About 5,000-7000 words each on fiat vs bitcoin: Why Bitcoin Will Beat The US Dollar! , plagiarism: Plagiarism, Pitchforks, & Witch-Hunts... Hive-Style! , and money-manifestation: Money Manifestation: Law Of Attraction Demystified!
And I've written a similar amount in high-effort comments I've made all over the blockchain, as well as many other 'short' posts too.
Anyway, the number of all posts & comments I've written on Hive since joining totals approximately ~200,000 words (approaching the quarter-million word mark!)
@dandays calls these pieces (affectionately, I believe) my 'Terms Of Service' posts, lol.
Many of these are full of original doodles & cartoons, and are written in engaging, character-driven story form.
Think about it. A good story or book can often be 300+ pages and hundreds of thousands of words... so I think my pieces are fine. I make sure no word is wasted as much as possible, and that they're jam-packed with value. They go through intense edits before publication. And to me, they're literally some of the best written content on this entire blockchain-- I'm extremely proud of them.
Now, some people don't like that 50% of my posts are basically novellas.
This fact offends and triggers them for some reason. They'll sometimes swing by my posts just to say something uplifting like "no one wants to read that much text" or "I saw the word count and immediately skipped your post."
Super classy responses to my literally decades of writing experience, eh? As if I hadn't considered content-length when offering value here on Hive, and they must educate and correct me on how 'bad' I am. ;) (Interestingly, every single one of them earns very little on their content. Food for thought.)
Apparently offering a book's worth of value & wisdom on a certain topic... freely for people to read (or skim) as they like... is 'bad', and I should be writing 'shorter' things.
Puh-leeze. I'm insanely proud of the body of work I've contributed to hive.
(And if they bothered to look deeper, they’d see I’ve won multiple one-sentence story contests, I’m great at compelling sentences & tweets, not to mention punchy short headlines.)
Booyah! Those were my top 3 moments but there’s many other moments that I just couldn’t leave out, so here’s a bonus one, or an honorable mention.
BONUS Moment: Getting my top-quality post downvoted to ~2 Hive.
A few weeks ago I wrote an epic post on plagiarism. It was in story form, and a super-entertaining read that covered the nuances of both sides of the Hive-plagiarism debate. Like many high quality posts, it got over 400 upvotes and 200 comments. People absolutely loved it. In the first few hours it earned 58 Hive and was climbing, when suddenly...
BAM! My first ever downvote by a whale.
In 6 months on Hive, even the whales who disagreed with me never downvoted my posts, because they knew it was quality, positive, uplifting stuff. They knew it was high-quality content Hive needs... even if we had different perspectives.
And the funny thing is, my plagiarism post wasn't even controversial. It wasn’t taking much of a stand! It simply covered the nuanced sides of the issue, mostly sitting on the fence, and encouraging deeper, kinder thought.
But some whale randomly downvoted it down to a paltry 2.15 Hive.
Like… what, lol?
I wasn't doing cartwheels about it, but I wasn't 'upset' either. I was simply intrigued. What a bizarre occurrence.
And even stranger? The downvote by one confused whale triggered the rest of the Hive community to speak up and rectify the misdeed.
I ended up getting tipped FIVE TIMES as much as the post was poised to make from concerned, caring hivers who insisted on fair treatment of my content.
I went from rolling my eyes at seemingly toxic behavior from a hater, to my heart-overflowing with gratitude at the incredible generosity and sense of justice of the rest of my audience.
Talk about an emotional rollercoaster, lol.
There are so many more things and moments I could mention like: getting interviewed by PeakD's founder @jarvie, giving my first ever bilingual interview with @danielvehe and @enmy for @rutablockchain Discord, holo-lotus interview with @miriannalis & @drrune , getting hired by @theycallmedan and the @spknetwork team, getting hired by @grampo to help with Dining.Gifts, getting hired by @joerhino to help with ITSM Rhino, getting hired by @Wil.Metcalfe to advise on @Comet.Ranker , many witnesses & whales praising my content, getting curated by @curangel , @acidyo , @traciyork , @minismallholding , @ybanezkim25 , @brittandjosie , plus all the other connections I've made on Hive, but I'll end things here.
***I hope you enjoyed my 'top three' moments on Hive, I had a blast writing them. And I know more memorable moments are coming. ***
Thanks so much for reading, commenting, sharing, and even skimming. I appreciate you and wish you a fantastic day.
(P.S. I invite @cynshineonline , @meesterboom , and @barge to consider participating in this ‘best hive moments’ contest / initiative.)
He escrito...
How To Be Smarter (George's Guide) Pt. 1
No estaba tomando mucha posición.

You don't think I counted all 24 mentions to make sure mine's the only one bold and italicized do you TOS?
omfg... LMAO.
And dude, in my mind, you're one who deserves to be bold , italicized , and both simultaneously. 🤣
It has definitely been a great journey in just 6 months, I regularly consume your content, sometimes it takes me a little time because I like to read it carefully and even in many of them I take notes.... So I appreciate every contribution you make because I know you do it with love and the best of intentions.
Success and blessings ✨
¡Hurra! 🙏
🤗🤗🤗
First post I read today and upvoted it though my vote is an insignificant 0.001.
This is a great recap of what I've read so far about your content. Just starting. I reblogged I think two or three of your posts to serve as my reference. As for your Beginner's Guide, it took me more or less 3 days to complete reading them. Yes, you're posts are lengthy but conversational and engaging. You're really good in sharing your thoughts by way of storytelling. I am surprised that you mentioned that you also attracted a few "haters." Don't know why. Just assuming that perhaps your style does not fit the taste of those who have short attention span and lack the patience to spend time reading worthwhile content.
Thanks!
Grace and peace!
Thanks! I'm honored, and every time I see that upvote number go up, it means a lot to me, just like it would on reddit (where every vote is actually worth 0.000 technically :D), so thank you. And I'm even more grateful for the reblogs, because it helps unbury valuable content and boost it's visibility, helping it reach and be beneficial to more.
I do my best to make my words count and keep my content conversational and engaging, so I'm thrilled that comes through for you.
Haters come to anyone and everyone who 'makes a splash', 'speaks boldly', or 'is exceptional/remarkable' in some way. I've never seen someone escape them because haters are part of life's journey in a global society of 8 billion humans. They rarely have 'good reasons' for the hate, and are best ignored, in my experience. If someone's content isn't my preferred style, I don't aim hate at them, I simply unfollow, block, or move on, but some people can't help but invest extra time and energy to spit vitriol at others. :)
Grace and peace to you as well! 🙏
Goodmorning friend, and man of few words, ehhhh let me correct that M, man of many doodles and big blogs.
We met 6 months ago and come to appreciate all that’s done online from one to another and vice versa. The fact that you are the minister of the hive word and you know I am a fan. So with a lot to say I decided that I need to reply in a blog , just because blogging is the thing we ( need ) to do to get the message across. Know that with or without downvotes I love the fact that you two ( yes the pair of you enlighten the chain ) are here. So I am writing the post and will answer you further there if that is ok.
Talk soon friend
Say hi to your lovely
Aww, you are such a beautiful soul, miss! I truly intend for the day to arrive when we can dine at that restaurant together! I respect how busy you are with engagement, posts, comments, The Terminal, etc. and I'm always honored when you stop by my posts and show some love... especially with glowing praise like this! We love you too, looking forward to your post, and talk soon! 🙏
Saludos amigo, felicidades
When I saw you posted I already thought about commenting that you love heaters, because I knew you would name them hahaha. Then I saw that you confessed yourself. XD
It's very common to see new users who arrive without a guide, post about HIVE because they see post with good rewards. They have no idea about the platform but they rephrase an old tutorial to see if they get upvoted. I have always said that to talk about HIVE you have to have experience and have "lived" it. You certainly broke that paradigm. You studied it thoroughly and gave it a great personal touch. Congratulations and thank you for breaking the mold.
Thanks also for summarizing the novel of your downvote. I saw the post almost at zero and it struck me, but I didn't know any better; I've been so distracted with Splinterlands XD. What happened to you was amazing with so many people donating. That's an example and I'll use it for sure; as many complain about "unfairness" when they give downvote to their friends, but don't even think of using tips.
They say that a man in his life, has to plant a tree, have a child and write a book. I have planted many trees, I have a son and with what I have written in HIVE, I think I have already written a book, although it will not be an excuse. But what I still have to do at the moment and what is rumbling in my head; is to read your publications on the law of attraction. I started the first one and didn't finish it and I see that you wrote more and I'm behind in that task hahahaha. I really want to read it, I will do it soon.....
Greetings my friend, congratulations
Not everyone is able to handle confrontations, conflict or negative remarks about their posts. I’ve already mentioned that I don’t do well with conflict but do my best to work through it and handle it. It’s a good thing you have tough skin because as you’re faced with things you weren’t expecting, having the ability to navigate through it and to be able to keep on moving is key to your surviving success here.
I recently did a post talking about it's impossible to please everyone especially at the same time. You’d literally have a mental breakdown trying to do so (I’ve been there and won’t ever go back). The great thing about Hive is for those that enjoy your content they can keep on enjoying it and for those that don’t agree with your content or have a problem with the way you approach things have the freedom to bypass and keep on moving.
There are some things you’ve published that tigger me or go against my faith/beliefs (things said in certain posts) but just like anyone I have that option whether to support that particular content or not. Sometimes it’s better for one to keep their opinions to themselves and then there are appropriate times when one should speak up. However, I appreciate a lot of the educational content you have put out here (especially the ones about Hive in the beginning) and I know that you have helped a lot of people with navigating this platform and I think that deserves to be supported ;)
Heck good content is good content and if you feel like publishing a 43 minute long post that’s worth the read I’ll read it as I sit down to a cup of coffee lol. Sometimes when I’m reading and curating I wish the content I read is longer and more in-depth with details, with you we don’t have to worry about it not being in depth :D
You raise a bunch of great points and as usual, have a positive, well-thought out comment to contribute, thank you. Plus, I've seen you handle conflict quite smoothly, so props! :)
Yes, I was a 'people-pleaser' when I was younger and it's insanely stressful, for the reasons you've outlined.
We've discussed my Christian upbringing and your faith a few times before, and I figured that played a role in my noticing you less in my comment sections, lol. I'm always happy to discuss Christian principles, interpretations of the bible and so on to clarify my position if someone sincerely seeks to understand my perspective, at the same time... as you said "sometimes it’s better for one to keep their opinions to themselves" (something I actually do quite often myself) and you seem like a wise soul able to discern which time is which... so, kudos!
Lastly, I'm glad you appreciate any of my content, and I'm honored when anyone feels it qualifies as quality coffee-time reading, especially someone uplifting like you.
Sending lots of well-wishes to you and the fam (last I checked you had your hands full and were adjusting priorities and minimizing Hive-interaction, so it's great to see you around.)
Thanks for stopping by and supporting, much love, and wishing you a great day! 🙏
I appreciate that. I don't like stirring up negativity so if I can't find the things I want to say in a positive manner (that hopefully will be beneficial in the long run) then I just won't say anything at all.
Yes, my younger years were spent trying to keep the peace and making everyone happy. It's so freeing now in my 40th year of life to be okay with everyone not being happy. 😄
Lol, yea I figured we both have already talked about both our Christian perspectives so it’s no point of me to frequently bring them up in the comment sections or always talk about the points I don’t agree with. If and when another time for that comes then so be it. I’m thankful for the discernment that I do have about things like this. I also like that you are always open to talk about things like that and do so in a respectful way.
Of course! I’ve had many of my coffee times reading your content. 😁😉
Thank you! It’s always great to be here especially when I have my “life” under control. Of course that doesn’t last long because chaos strikes on a weekly basis haha.
Much love and well wishes sent back your way. I hope you have an excellent rest of the week ~ 😊
Yep, I'm the same, I prefer to be as positive as possible. That said, growth tends not come without friction, and truth can often only be discerned when ideas are challenged, so in service to growth & truth, I am definitely open to debate or difference of opinion in the right time/place.
Haha, I know the feeling, sounds like we walked similar paths in the 'people-pleasing' regard.
We have indeed, and I remember it being a pleasant, enlightening discussion, one which I was very grateful for. (So thank you once again.) 🤗
Oh boy, lol, now I'm wondering how my next post is gonna go over. It's a doozy, it pulls no punches, and it's the most Christianity-referencing thing I've ever written, lol. It's possible once it's posted you'll label me a devil-worshipper and stay as far away as possible. Heck, my own family might, (grin). Either way, it'll have the usual amount of love, care, respect for others, and depth of thought I aim for in all my posts.
(It's already 'coffee-length' and quotes so many bible verses my head is spinning.) 🙃
And I believe the entire Hive community is blessed by whatever presence you're lead to give here, and I'm blessed by every conversation we've ever had, and I wish you an as "under control" life as possible.
Wishing you an excellent rest-of-week as well! 🙏
So after this post is published and you don't hear from me in months to years...you'll know why. 😂
Oh goodness. Maybe for this read I should spike my coffee lol (joke).
I really appreciate all of the thoughtful and encouraging comments you give, thank you ~ 😊
LOL, well, fingers crossed it resonates with you! 🤣 (It's live now, so...)
Yes, I probably should've added a 'spiked coffee' recommendation in my disclaimer 😆
The feeling is totally mutual, I have huge respect for your writings, comments, engagement, and all you do on Hive and off. #KeepRyzing 🙏
Okay thanks for the heads up. 👌🏽
Thank you always ~ ☺️
You are a rock star. Writing a guide for newbies when you are a newbie yourself. It is awesome. I always share your guides to my new-hive friends and ask them to take sometime to go through the guide as it has a detailed information for them to start their journey. Thank you so much for your time and dedication.
Thank you so much for these kind words, and especially taking action to help my posts reach more people. These things mean a lot to me and encourage me to continue posting. Thank you for taking the time to comment and share. Wishing you a great day! 🙏
You push the boundaries here, Jay, and do it very well. You teeter right on the edge! 🤣
In fact even in this short (for you 😉) post you've cleverly highlighted the flaws of those who just want to troll. I recall getting a comment on YouTube saying they didn't like the music accompanying the video and it was annoying. I don't generally like the music in none verbal videos myself, either, but most do, which is why I include it. My response was that I use the mute facility when I have that issue. I think some people only find purpose why they complain.
Aw, thanks for saying so, haha, I do my best to pull-off a well-executed, boundary-pushing balancing act! 🤣 You have a significant impact here on hive (and I imagine on YouTube as well), so it doesn't surprise me that you get occasional complainers, but I expect you handle them well. I was a bitter, judgmental, asshole as a teenager, so I like to believe that they'll grow out of their complaining ways, eventually. Thanks so much for sharing here and all you do for the Hive community, wishing you a great day! 🙏
You made a splash for sure. lol.
Good job, more people need to understand that you can't be successful without haters, but most are too thin skinned for success or failure.
Haha, yeah it definitely seems that way. :)
And thanks, it's a really important concept that most people aren't taught, and you're right, most are too thin-skinned for either result! 🙏
Man you have been killing it on Hive since you launched. When I first noticed you, I said wow, this guy just came to shake the ground for us. I was impressed that you had earned all the earnings I made in 1 year in about 3 months and you deserve it. Your content are explicit and it shows the time you dedicate into it.
I would agree that your content sometimes is very long for me to read through that’s why I prefer reading you when I am not in a haste or in my leisure time. Kudos to all you have achieved brother!
Ayyy, thanks so much for the support, encouragement, and kind words bro. I really appreciate every time you swing by and you always have some positive insight or comment to make. You're a beast at onboarding Hivers and that always impresses me. I'm honored to be a 'ground-shaker' in any way and I'm glad the time, energy, and love I put into my content comes through. I'm so grateful you read my content when you're not in a haste or in your leisure time. Much appreciated, and wishing you an awesome day! 🙏
What a pleasure to read you friend as always, what great moments you have spent in Hive, since you arrived I could notice your great content extensive but very uplifting, and very helpful for everyone.
How nice that even though you have haters that means we are doing well, and waooo how surprised of all the offers that came to you for the good content 😉, many congratulations for that.
And a pleasure to have you commenting and sharing here, I'm grateful that you notice my content and see it as helpful and uplifting, that's what I aim for! :) Yes, haters are usually a sign we're on the right track and yes, I"m extremely honored for all the offers that flow to me, thank you, and wishing you a great day! 🙏
Whooooo! great post and omg those are some epic moments for sure!
it's been an interesting journey here on Hive so far. I enjoyed your post and such cute doodles (as usual)

Thank you for your thoughtfulness @ryzeonline
Happy day!!!!
My pleasure, thanks for being you! Happy day too! 🙏
Hey my friend, thank you for thinking of me and my possible HIVE-a-LIVE moment. TBH, and as you may see in my next post which I've been humming'n'hawing with for days, I'd have to really polish up my specs to find that moment and my lenses are too caked for that atm.
I have however thought about happiness and joy a bit since your prompt and I realise that one truly joyous moment I experience is when @flamistan comes charging towards me: ears back, mouth open, tongue oot.
I may not get around to finding my HIVE moment but I wanted to acknowledge.
🤗
My pleasure, glad you liked the mention, and I totally understand if it's not the right time for a Hive Moments post for you. I'm just honored you stopped by and shared a joyous moment. :) I just posted another giant mega-post, this time on Christianity & The Law Of Attraction, and I'm looking forward to your next post too, sounds interesting! 🙏
I've been getting a lot of hate and even "threats" lately, it's kinda funny especially when these haters have nothing of real substance to point at of what I'm doing wrong and quickly go for vulgarity or threats. Most of the time it's always just about the rewards and I hope you've also learned over time to not overreact to a downvote here and there. People look at each individual post and expect it to perform and forget that starting out many of us were doing a lot of work and effort without seeing a dime for it. Things have changed now, there's a lot more eyes and a lot more stake distributed better to make sure effort and value is rewarded better and more consistently but don't let a couple downvotes from haters or in general people who just don't agree with the rewards now and then get you down, it barely takes down your average post rewards throughout all your posts neither.
Yeah, I hear ya. Seems to be a theme around here lately, lol. (Threats? Sheesh.) Anyway, s'all good bro, just keep doing what your conscience dictates, you pour a ton of love into making Hive better and I'm confident things will work out for the best.
I've had small downvotes, barely reacted to 'em. Recently had a huge one from a whale that obliterated rewards on a super-high effort post... and again, barely reacted.
I agree, it's a 'long game' and a 'big picture' perspective is often quite helpful. Overall my content is rewarded fairly well (at least, relative to the platform), and I'm extremely grateful for that.
Thanks for swinging by and adding some insight, always appreciated and I trust all your projects are flowing along smoothly. Wishing you a great day! :) 🙏
Did you know that there is a mechanism on Hive to appeal DV's and get other whales to counter? Also now in Proof of Brain there is an appeal initiative being talked about for the community for unnecessary DVs...
No I had no idea, and I've studied DVs fairly in-depth... interesting. I imagine it's rather hidden/buried and few know about it? Or I just missed it? lol. Either way, I'm curious, link possible? 🙏
So I can't remember exactly where I saw it but fairly sure it was somewhere in the POB Discord. If you haven't joined yet, please do so and then you can engage with Scholaris in the voting-review area which is where review of POB DV's are requested. I know Scholaris will be able to advise you about the Hive approach (it actually has a special name lol) and what to do if it ever happens to you again. If you give me your Discord user I'll invite you to the POB Discord.
https://discord.gg/SuTg5ZuX try this
I'm in, thank you! 🙏
Cool! Thanks so much! I tend to avoid Discord for the most part, but I am able to navigate it somewhat, so I'll aim to check it out. My addy is: "ryzeonline#1404" (without the quotes) 🙏
I can't find that addy on Discord ...mmm... try the link I posted in the comment straight after. Or get hold of Scholaris on one of his posts. He's super helpful. With the discord links they always say expired for me so I click on the magnifying glass at the bottom of Discord and then start typing https: at this point it pops up and ask me if I want to add a friend or join a server, I click join a server and then type in the discord invite using the format provided and it always works
LOL, WOW, Fantastic as Always, You might be the finest writer I ever read but I'm sure you have heard that like a thousand times xD. To convey such serious information and still be funny, that's everything for me. I wish you more success on Hive for the tremendous work and love you put into creating content for us. ✌
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I spent years writing with very little praise, admiration, or respect so any time someone takes the time to say something positive it means the world to me. I love conveying 'deep' or 'serious' things with truth and humor if possible, and I'm thrilled that seems to have come through. You really made my day, I appreciate you and wish you lots of joy! 🙏
So, I would have responded sooner but your epic posts are getting longer with Spanish translations included ... lol just kidding ... although I find this great that you are being more inclusive in this way and hopefully reaching a larger audience...maybe a Spanish community tag would be useful? I've been thinking of trying something similar myself. I already respond to all Spanish comments in both English and Spanish out of common courtesy. I did keep getting side-lined into your linked posts though (so interesting!) ha ha ... but you don't do things in small measures ... I get the feeling it's ALL IN with you, GO BIG OR GO HOME 😊 You've done so well in such a short time, J. Yep, I'm one of the dozens if not more who have rehived your Beginner's guide, tweeted it, flagged it to numerous newbies lol. If something is that good, you've gotta use it, right? And these DV issues that keep happening to people like you and others we know are just not right. People are entitled to use the DV but I honestly believe they should comment as to why they have done it and give the author an opportunity to engage and work things out together so that perhaps the DV can be removed. There are means to appeal through Hive and POB ... and as for the number of characters you have written. Phew! And I though I wrote long posts and comments. This made me lol "Did you know a Hive-post has a character limit of 64,000 characters (it’s actually slightly less, I stop at 58,000 characters just to be safe)? " haha "I stop at 58,000...to be safe!" I can just picture you at your keyboard...thinking shall I dare ...just one more word...c'mon Hive...you can do it ha ha. At least you make every one of them count! take care J and I'll be sure to check in more regularly so that I'm not always playing catch up with you (but ya know...I gotta clear an entire evening for your posts hee hee... but they are always so worth it!) 🙏
All good, superstar, I encourage you (and everyone) to consume whatever content suits you at your own pace.
Yeah, I translate most comments with DeepL, and @cynshineonline is Colombian so she helps me translate the odd post here or there (she made a GIANT Spanish version of the Hive guide, for example.)
Yeah, I figure if I'm not gonna do something whole-heartedly, why do it at all? The world benefits from humans brining their full presence to whatever they're about, imho. And I'm honored so many Hivers resonate with what I'm up to, including you, thank you! I don't make a big deal about the DV issues and can see both sides, but it does seem far from an 'ideal system' that could definitely (and obviously) use some work.
It's interesting because I'm honestly not over-the-moon about writing at length, it's simply something that comes along with 'teaching others' and 'making my points', so I end up doing it, lol. That's why I trim and cut and aim to make every word count, because I'm not aiming to drag things out or hit a certain wordcount. And haha, you're right, I do sit there thinking do I dare, because it actually can cause a bunch of issues when you cross the character limit, so I'd rather play it safe at 58k. I use wordcounter.net to keep on top of it.
I appreciate you spending any time on my content and I imagine you wouldn't bother if it didn't bring value to you or enrich your life some way, so... I'll take it. :) Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to express and engage in the comments, it means a lot to me. Much love! 🙏
You are very welcome ... off to do some Dreemporting now lols. Have a great evening.
You too! 🙏
Will come back and leave a longer reply here later but for now here is some !LUV and !PIZZA ... and if the LUV bot is sick of me today then I'll come back again tomorrow hee hee 🙏 You are definitely appreciated Jay!
I'm touched and honored and looking forward to anything you care to share. Thanks for all the pizza and luv, you're appreciated too, Sam! 🙏
