Tengo una sobrina muy bebe que ya comenzó a comer, como es un poco rebelde y no le gustan los baberos me encargaron hacerle una prenda para que no se ensucie tanto al comer, así que vamos a improvisar un delantal para bebe.
Para empezar con papel y una remera hice un molde, copié el contorno, pero midiendo que las distancias estén bien, las líneas rectas y extendí también un poco el largo, para este delantal voy a usar una sábana de bebe, es un poco pequeña así que no tenía uso, es perfecto usarlo para este proyecto ya que si no sale bien no gaste dinero y sirve la experiencia.
I have a very young niece who has already started eating. Since she is a bit rebellious and doesn't like bibs, I was asked to make her a garment so that she doesn't get so dirty when eating, so we are going to improvise a baby apron. To start, I made a pattern with paper and a t-shirt. I copied the outline, but measuring the distances so that the lines were straight and I also extended the length a bit. For this apron, I am going to use a baby sheet. It is a bit small so it was not used. It is perfect to use it for this project because if it doesn't turn out well, I don't waste money and the experience is useful.
Corte la prenda y unas 5 tiras de unos 4 cm, las tiras las voy a usar a modo de bies, para hacer la terminación de cuello y también para que se pueda atar atrás, estoy haciendo mucho esto para prendas y me sirve bastante.
I cut the garment and about 5 strips of about 4 cm, I am going to use the strips as bias, to finish the neck and also so that it can be tied at the back, I am doing this a lot for garments and it is very useful.
Los costados y los hombros los voy a terminar con dobleces, entonces antes de hacerlo los planche, para que queden bien prolijos.
I'm going to finish the sides and shoulders with folds, so before doing that I ironed them so they look neat.

Para el cuello primero uní dos tiras y después las cosí, como suelo coser un cuello de bies, es la forma más prolija y como sigo practicando mejorar mis costuras hacerlo de esta forma me ayuda a mejorar, siempre hago esto con mucha ayuda de plancha, sino sale desprolijo.
For the collar, I first joined two strips together and then sewed them together. As I usually sew a bias collar, it is the neatest way and as I continue to practice and improve my seams, doing it this way helps me improve. I always do this with a lot of help from an iron, otherwise it comes out messy.

Las tiras están cosidas del revés y volteadas con la aguja volteadora, esta aguja es super útil para breteles o tiras muy finas.

Para terminar, hice el ruedo que también es vuelta y vuelta planchado, las sisas tienen una terminación simple y coloqué también las tiras de los costados que ayudan a que se ate.

Fue bastante rápido de hacer y es muy útil, esperemos que la bebe no se ponga rebelde de nuevo y se deje poner el delantal jajaja, si resulta bien seguro tenga que hacer otros así que veremos como resulta esta nueva idea.
It was pretty quick to make and it's very useful. Let's hope the baby doesn't get rebellious again and lets us put the apron on her lol. If it turns out well, I'll probably have to make others so we'll see how this new idea turns out.
