Here in my city, believe or not, sangrias are quite popular in the hot summer months. I have never had one so well done as yours. You have put quite a bit of effort into it along with nice fruits. I have never seen or heard of a star cherry in my life. I imagine that it's delicious.
You've made me realize that you are having some nice weather unlike ours. I could drink a good sangria any time of the year.
I've had some terrible ones here and some really good ones, so it's like gambling. I would definitely gamble on yours.
Ohhh, what a beautiful comment @carolynstahl, thanks!
It really is surprising, but I guess that a drink so tasty and easy to make, becomes almost universal, the sangria is like this: Very easy to prepare, delicious and refreshing.
Star cherries are very sour, however their acidity drops a bit when sweetened. I usually harvest it in my backyard, I have four trees, with their fruits I make sweet that I sell in my home.
Here the climate is always hot and dry, I have never lived in a place with four seasons, I suppose it has its charm, although of course, all extremes are not pleasant.
