A slow post full of snails 😃 🐌🐌

This first snail picture is my submission to the PhotoChain Challenge: 21th Edition
the two keywords for this week being SHELL and TREE
and I add GRASS

I first started thinking about all the meanings of the word shell, then it occurred to me that I photograph snails relatively often,

I love these little animals because they can be easily photographed, as they do not run faster than I do ... 😃

So I searched among my existing photographs, while thinking that if I would not find the perfect photograph (I remind you that you also need a tree to be in the image), well if necessary, I would go out in search of a snail to surprise on a tree 🐌

and that's fine because the weather today is wet, a real snail's time indeed ...😉

So here I go exploring in my archives looking for the perfect photo,

and as I really do not like to do a one picture post, I thought I could do a good job of making a photograph and art collection of my snails and here are all the wonderful snails I found along the way 😃

I'm lucky to have a front yard often visited by snails...I probably enjoy them more because I have no garden where they could eat my salads ... 😃
Both of them are big snails, not like the one on the first picture that was a rather small one

This other one was having a belly rubbing on the fresh moss...

And I found him another time in the hydrangeas... 😉

It happened I also shot some empty shells, well just because it's beautiful...❤️

But not only am I photographing snails quite often...
I also draw them with pleasure indeed ! 😃

I love it that I can draw a different snail each time, but they always have a family resemblance ...😃

The big eyes ! LoL I love to draw big eyes for any of my characters 😉

Yet, if you look closely, these snails have each different big eyes...

And this last one recently created for Valentine Day...

So I was super happy to get my hands on this photo which contains the perfect elements for @davidsimoncini 's contest, that is to say:

uh, I enjoyed more the 2nd part of the post (your nice drawings)

...and this photo clicked the best for me; it is intentionally 'unrealistic' (i.e. not a natural landscape but artificially made stand still) and that why I loved it more.. for its unusual and benefits this way... i dont know is my idea clear or odscure but I cant put this blurry thought in a more clear way :D
