On Monday evening I decided to make a cake for myself and I bought all the stuff for the cake in the shop near my home. This Cake recipe from my grandmother doesn't need to be baked so it is pretty easy, but very good. Just melt some chocolate in a pot, buy some wafers and put some marmelade on the wafers. On top of each wafer ther is marmalade and melted chocolate. Then you just need to put everything into the refrigerator and the next day the cake is finished. And the combination of marmelade and chocolate is just very tasty, I am addicted to this kind of cacke since my Grandmother made this "Pletschntorte" very often for me, for example as birthday cake.

Yum! Chocolate and orange is a great combination. I have never seen that size wafer available for purchase here. Now I must go look!

Yes probably the memory, Males the cake even better than it is. But it tastes really great to me.
Pretty simple cake. Waffle. We sell these in boxes in stores, but I think the one made with my own hands is tastier.
Oh great, i already tried several different to buy but they Always taste so different that I dont like them. It is probably the Marmelade/ Jam that ist causing the taste difference, but i am not Sure. I Just know the selfmade tastes way better - at least 100x better.
