Season Hunt challenge - Hot drinks

in Feel Good3 years ago

If you haven't heard yet about the Season Hunt Challenge hosted by our talented artist and friend @barbara-orenya, I invite you to join the fun. Each week there is a new challenge and now we are looking for Hot Drinks. Click on the link for details and rules if you like to partake.

When it is cold outside and the wind is howling, snowing or raining, picture that - a cup of hot drink, nice book to read near the heater, soft blanket and purring cat. That is what comes to my mind the moment I read what we are going to "hunt" this week.

I have always been a coffee drinker. Do you like that smell of freshly grinded coffee? I love it. It is something I can't describe. The aroma makes me feel comfy and lift my spirit. But it is much more.

During the last two-three years I stopped drinking coffee. Now, from time to time I could afford to have a cuppa. For many years, it was a habit to start the day with coffee. Some say they cannot open their eyes without the cup in their hands. Well, I wasn't exactly that one, but I remember how the first thing to do when I was arriving in the office was to stop by the coffee machine.

Funny cup on my desk.

Next photo is from Istanbul airport, where I had pretty long stay waiting for my flight to Bangkok. I sat in one of the cafes where I had espresso and lemonade. It is always better to have a company and to gossip over a cuppa, isn't it?

Everyone has its own favourite cup or mug. I am not an exception. I have two in fact.
One of them is Christmas mug, a pressie from a friend. I don't mind to use it all year round. Besides we used to say that everyday is Christmas in our house.

Although I am not a big fan of tea, I like the fruit flavoured and recently I bought a selection. These cpuple of weeks I am working home office and I love to have a cup of tea each day and to choose different flavour and always with honey. I adore the honey and basically my hot drinks must be sweet.

Nobody will question the benefits of tea, but I can't say I am going to love it more.
When I stopped having coffee, I used to make hot chocolate from time to time.

In any case, the cold weather provokes to go more often in the kitchen and now I think I will make myself another cup of tea. Besides my working day is over and I will snuggle in the soft blanket with my cuppa. And that will definetely make me feel good.

Thank you Luigi for your sweet support ❤

I think you won't be drinking tea alone for long. very soon your two fluffy beauties will come running to you to purr on your knees 🐈😀 I love tea (right now I drink herbal tea before going to bed ☕😊) but I like to start the day with coffee 😊

Oh, the fur balls are now three and they are making me company in turns 😀

You still adopted the third kitten! Wow!!!!

Yeah, now we have full house, three cats and a dog. All rescued and adopted. 😀

Wow!!! they are all very lucky! 😀

If they only knew 😀
The truth is no one of the cats would survive. Each one had some health issue. But now the three cats are well and healthy.

you have a very kind heart!

There was a time I drank a lot of coffee, mostly when I was at home with my computer, but now I drink only one cup on morning and sometimes a one more in the day, but at the end afternoon I prefer some herbal infusion....Thanks much for your participation @nelinoeva ! 😊

I thought I was addicted to coffee, but I found that it was not hard to switch to tea or no drink. However, in weather like these days, with temperatures below zero, I have a cuppa more often, mainly tea.
