Fantastic letter Os @melinda010100. I enjoyed going through your word choices. Firstly, I love freshly grilled octopus too! The photo of Oak Alley is wonderful. It shows just how large the Oak trees are. Thre is a city called Oakland in the SF Bay Area and named so because of the many Oak trees... but I think I was remiss for not noticing even one during visits to that city when I lived in the Bay Area. I sort of thought that you'd have a "Feathered Friend" always in your choices (as I would have, naturally without purpose, precious metals in mine). And to see two here made me smile! And YIKES... a scary looking snake !!!!!

It never occurred to me that Oakland was named after oak trees! Duh! It's the redwoods that I look for in the SF area and I am not sure if I have ever noticed the oaks.
I am struggling getting any new bird pictures right now because of all the leaves on the trees. And then after the leaves fall all our beautiful summer birds
have migrated south. Such a dilemma! 😂
