Thank you, Zirochka!💕
She is our "granddog" and stays in our care while our son attends college. For two years during the pandemic he was back and forth at home half the time for remote online studies and the three of us
did our besta good job raising her. When she was a puppy we had her in two 4-week classes of obedience training too.🐾How have you been? Did Nick's surgery go well hopefully? How is your daughter?
Big hugs, my lovely friend!😊 💫💜🌙
Hello, dear Nina!
Thank you for asking <3 Nick finally had some tests (the laboratory stuff was all ill for a week!) and now need the last appointment with his doctor. February was a harsh month. My mom was operated (coronary bypass surgery), and it turns out I need a surgery too. The funny thing is that after Nick and mom we're short in money and now it very much depends on how much it costs. In addition, the military threat adds too much uncertainty. But I believe we'll overcome these challenges, and everything will be (must be!) allright again.
xxo
Oh no! I dislike hearing about everyone's health issues hitting at the same time. We have a saying in the USA that fits "when it rains it pours."🌧🌩⛈
Please take care of your health and I hope the surgery you need isn't anything major.
How is your mom doing and was her heart bypass surgery unexpected? How many arteries bypassed? I don't remember seeing anything mentioned about it on your blog but might have missed it as I haven't been able to be as active as I would like on HIVE.
The disrest regarding Ukraine-Russia crisis is to be very stressful and difficult to deal with on a daily basis. I hate hearing about the situation escalating and hope it defuses soon.✌☮🕊
Keep me updated on Nick and the family. You're in my prayers! @zirochka🙏🙌🙏

Spot-on!
Don't worry, you didn't miss it, I just didn't write about mom. You know, I was su much involved, and stressed about other's health issues, and it brought me here when I need help myself. When I was told a preliminary diagnosis and saw the reaction of my doctor, I was scared do death. When tests didn't find cancer, I reevaluated everything... And actually this was like a shakeup for me, and a reminder that there is always a good things happening to me every day. This is what it means to me live for today.
So, I still do my best, but try to focus on good things.
Speaking about my mom, she had 2 main problems: her vessels and arm. As it was I who arranged everything and payed for, it was up to me what surgery to do first. I took an advice of a good heart surgeon and we operated her arm first as the pain is not bearable. And those doctors who operated told me that her heart is really in a bad condition, and it should be a heart surgery first, but anyway we need to "fix" her heart asap. But my mom is a very proud stubborn woman with a bad temper. And the surgery was put on ice. First, it should be a stenting vessels of the heart (quite simple, and not so expensive as well). When I finally persuaded her to take my help, the coronography showed stending will not help and she needs bypassing. This is quite another amount of money, and there's no a doctor in her hometown that can make it. When I finally found a doctor that I trust and for a reasonable price, she got a covid and ended up in hospital. The worst, she is diabetic and 77 y.o., and everything is dangerous for her. When she got better, New Year came, then Orthodox Christmas, you know, none what to spend holidays in a hospital. And then she had a heart attack, and I couldn't wait any longer, so was it urgent or not I can't tell. Literally not, but in her circumstances, as she lives 600 km from me, urgent would be too late.
Now she's in the hospital in her hometown on rehabilitation. So things aren't too bad. To be honest, it is a half of year that I am prepared to the worst.
Thank you so much my dear Nina for your care, and sorry if it was, you know, "too much". It's a real wonder how sometime life send you a friend from the other side of the world. My appreciation is beyond words. God bless you!
xoxo
You and your family continue to be in my prayers! @zirochka🙏
