RE: Lost in Stereo... and their first public performance ever!

Some small triggers can help refresh the remembrance... a photo... reading a note from your diary... a video you accidentally find many years after an event happened. Does it happen to you too?

Sounds (particularly songs) and smells sometimes seem to force old memories to the surface, as though they were happening all over again. Sometimes this can be so wonderful!

Do you want to write it down and make it visible for you any time you come back and want to refresh your memory? We would be also pleased to read your share!

For me, this is my greatest goal on Hive. I love the idea of leaving a record of myself somewhere in the anonymous internet world. I’ll be able to come back and remember these times, and this is worth more than all the post payouts. I think, *someday, I’ll be one of the great quena players in our world, and it will be fun for people to come back to the old Car-Fluting videos and see how i grew through sheer effort and consistency - I was never something special, i was just a regular person who was determined to become great at something he loved :)

This was a really awesome post - it speaks directly to me on a number of levels, and I think has the right form to inspire users to bring a greater depth if content to the table.

Pilamayaye, Kola! :)

Yes, sounds and smells can do that, those are like small triggers that can awaken in us the things we forgot. It is wonderful indeed :)

You are doing very well, and that car fluting videos are a cool thing. As I already told you, I dont know how do you do that, with another instrument would be even more difficult :D
When I was studying I used to record my playing on cassettes haha, I didn't have a camera to record a video of me, and mobile phones still didn't exist ( well, they did but not with the features we have nowadays). Those audio recordings served me to see what I have to improve and showed a path of growth.

Thank you for your visit and your words of appreciation. I am happy this post can further inspire, actually, all is about that in this Q corner :D

Pilamayaye :))

HAHAHA! Thank you! Your Lakota is very good :)

I really appreciate your words of kindness as well. I think I’ve been feeling very emotional lately - and between your post about memories, @cabelindsay ‘s post about bicycles, and sitting down listening to Cat Steven’s Father and Son when I came home from work today, I’ve been feeling those emotions extra hard today - which is one if the greatest joys life has had to offer me thus far.

I genuinely appreciate your posts, your perspectives, and most importantly, your kindness and friendship. I hope you have a wonderful evening, filled with the joys of peace and love :)
