Good morning @atma.love I apologise for being MIA. I messaged you on Element and will be headed to the airport to fly back to the #Philippines on about an hour.
Never intended to be a no-show. Have a new laptop now that will make it easier to communicate during travels.

No worries. Let me know when you're ready bro.

Delegations welcome!
Can you explain your method of sprouting chickpeas and lentils, @atma.love?
Sure. i use old 500 g (vegan) yoghurt pots. Quarter fill with the legume & nearly fill with distilled water. Soak overnight (or about 8 hrs), then drain, rinse and drain once or twice more with tap water (depending on ambient temperature of room) & final rinse & drain with filtered water (distilled water takes quite a bit of electricity to make) covering pots with a cloth to keep fruit flies out. With the chick peas i just cover with my hand and invert the pit to drain. With the lentils i use a seive as they slip through the fingers otherwise. Dont put more than about 1/4 pit as they will expand to fill the pist as they grow (or you can split into another pot as they do)
Then rinse & drain twice a day until ready (when sprout is about same size as legume). Lentils take about 2 days, chick peas about 3 (again depending on temperature). Sunlight (or any light) not required.
Then keep in fridge (loosely covered) until i'm ready to use if not straight away. Rinse & drain once a day to keep fresh, best to use within a few days.
i mostly make raw hummus with them (which keeps for several days in sealed jar in fridge). Sometimes the lentils (or some of them) go in a salad.
Thank you very much, @atma.love. I would suggest you make a post with this text. And you should absolutely make a post with a raw hummus recipe.

I love sprouts. At the moment, I'm enjoying mung beans and alfalfa. My favourite ate broccoli but they're expensive xxxx
Back home i sprout mung & garbanzo, but no mung here. i usually mix them and make hummus. Not tried broccoli sprouts yet.
Peace & love
