Yes, I agree that it is needed, I just don't know if @guiltyparties has the time to gather a consensus on what the rules are, in a transparent way.
It would definitely help onboard Dapps or would at least prevent failed launches.
I pretty much knew what we were getting into when we launched @dbuzz, so I was prepared for the backlash from abuse fighters, but new investors and developers may not know a thing about the standards on HIVE!
If HiveWatchers has time to write a proposal for community funds then I think they should have more than enough time to lay out reasonable guidelines they seek to enforce. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to request, they've not made any progress in laying those clearly defined rules out. Instead we all have to wonder if we are going to fall in their sights or not...
We'll publish a respectable document on abuse and guidelines in time. There are only a few of us doing a lot of work and that includes general Hive work. I know that's due but right now it's waiting its turn behind other critical deliverables.
I look forward to that document and encourage you to see the importance it has compared to other deliverables.
