Completely crushed. It's one of the biggest GD con-jobs to funk with people's accounts here on Hive and then DEMAND we come suck up to them on Discord. My vote is that I will meet the person in the flesh... not on discord.I'm seriously unhinged over @hivewatchers... I want them crushed...
I would love to see all condensers make all blacklists opt-in. That's the only way I see us regaining liberty over these small groups that are trying to determine the "rules" of a decentralized network. I demand the ability to opt out of their lies before I continue to stake myself to this network.
They seriously believe they are above scrutiny simply by Claiming they are doing something in the community interest. @hivewatchers doesn't get to Just magically become a Blessed Saint simply because they say so. I say I will be finding out who the Real People are behind the accounts and will do a public audit of THEIR dirty laundry by Self Appointing myself as a "Watcher"... see how they like it. Also, I'd like to economically smash their account and those attached to it for even suggesting that I come onto Discord to beg their mercy. I absolutely will not tolerate this shite at all. Mainly because the "Game" this group of idiots is playing is one played by cowards.

If you do end up filing a police report, please document the process. I would be very interested in seeing you walk into the police station or wherever the RCMP work out of and telling them some asshole downvoted you on Hive and you now wish to file a report. The looks on their faces would be priceless.
Also, rewards are not final until the 7 day timer is up. That's how rewards work. This is the basic algorithm of the Hive blockchain that has upward and downward curation. There are other blockchains that don't have downward curation which you are welcome to find and use but Hive does have it. That will never change.
So if you don't want to talk on Discord where it's more convenient, you can ask your questions here. I'll answer them. I don't give two shits in regards to what you threaten me with. I think you got into a territory where even Patrick is wondering wtf you're talking about.
I don't know the situation around the accounts that Frank mentioned but I understand his sentiment. There are real issues with asking users to use centralized platforms like Discord for business about a decentralized chain.
Why has the organization not already adopted something like HiveMessage? That would seem to be much more transparent plus it would not ask users to leave Hive to address your complaints. Whales threatened anyone dealing with @dbuzz for linking Twitter to Hive yet HiveWatchers sends tons of new users off chain daily.
Can you give a clear set of guidelines that you would apply to all accounts on the blockchain for inclusion on your HiveWatchers or Spaminator blacklist?

I recommend you contact @guiltyparties via Discord @patrickulrich *he has always been reasonable with me during my discussions with him, and communicates well.
Some of the abuse fighters don't communicate well, so @guiltyparties is probably the best person for you to contact.
I've been in touch with @guiltyparties since I first started noticing issues with their organization. Unfortunately this is the kind of response I've been given.

Here just thought of a solution. If you're actually keen on me prioritizing the document, by all means come help develop it. It makes no difference to me which community member helps write it.
There is a long history in relation to Travelfeed that is out of your scope of knowledge and out of the Hivewatchers scope.
You were caught with an account which presumably belongs to your mother where copy/pasted quotes were posted with zero engagement. We went out of our way to help you and to show you (and presumably her) how to engage with others but you instead have no intent of caring about anything that was said. Instead you're just spreading untruths for whatever reason. You will never get any special privilege to post copy/paste with zero engagement or originality when the entire community decided that is not acceptable. There is nothing on this planet that you can say that will make Hivewatchers treat your account to a different standard than other people's accounts. We treat everyone equally because to us all are equal.
Trying to suck both Travelfeed and 3Speak into your personal vendetta is underhanded because in the end, we are all pro-Hive partners. Everyone who cares about building and supporting Hive for the benefit of the Hive ecosystem is our partner. This is how decentralization and collaboration works.
I don't claim to know about the history between TF and HW. That being said I do in fact have a history of understanding that HiveWatchers is abusing their "blacklist" to stop users from sharing their interests. That was made clear in the way your team handled my mother's situation.
That being said let's clear things up here. I was never caught with anything as you stated above. I stood up for my mother when your joke of an organization flagged her account as plagiarism when she was sharing and referencing her daily bible studies. You're description of going out of your way to help her is a joke. As for treating everyone equal then why do you not label whale abuse and instead attack little old ladies?
Finally I'm not trying to tie anyone into anything. I'm simply reporting what I seen in Travelfeed's public Discord after a @everyone tag. Based on my experience with your team I feel it's necessary to help other Hive users to understand that your team is subpar and not worthy of being our watchers. You claim HiveWatchers wants to build Hive but are one of the largest mentioned reasons for users leaving the ecosystem.
Yes, I understand you wouldn't know anything about what actually transpired with Travelfeed and the community and you're looking at it as an observer. I'm telling you that you're looking at an iceberg. And its not my place here to reveal anything said in spaces where confidentiality is assumed. All I can say is this is just a small part of the story.
I have to treat all accounts the same. I can't treat an old lady differently than a young lady. It's a blockchain and all accounts appear as transactions, parts of blocks, lines of code, lines of text.
I do agree with you that we need guidelines published. I addressed that in a different comment. It's just delayed because of all the other critical tasks. There aren't that many of us working even with all the witnesses and developers together and all of us are tired. Some have gone nonstop since the takeover announcement in February. I have a list of deliverables that's longer than I can recite from memory. It'll get done and I'll get to it eventually.

They do. We have had and currently have whales on the blacklist.
Your mother's account isn't "low effort content", it was copy/paste. And yes, if anyone is caught doing that they will be added to the list. We don't actually deal with low effort content and we won't because not all people have the same capability of writing expansive essays.
That's ironic because it was described as low effort abuse in your Discord when I questioned about it. If it's that it's copy/paste does it not matter that she references the verse it si contained in and often gives a very brief personal detail on the post?

I am not familiar with what is happening between @threespeak and Hive Watchers.
It's not really to do so much with 3speak but rather HiveWatcher's abuse of power that scares apps.
Travelfeed is scared that their users will be considered duplicate posters if they were to post on 3speak and then again on Travelfeed using the embedded 3speak vid is my take.
The blockchain might require a transparent list of lines that are drawn, preferably by good people, so that there is accountability for abuse fighters, and also an easy way for new projects to know what will be flagged, what won't, and a way to appeal.
It would be A LOT of work to draw the lines, and to have a method to have them redrawn and appealed. @guiltyparties is one of the most well reasoned abuse fighters I encountered but again, creating a public list of acceptable and non-acceptable would be hard @patrickulrich.
I just don't see that. I feel like having defined rules would make curating for the group much easier as there would be no debate on individual instances. It would also be nice so we can get a record of what they actually think classifies as abuse instead of hiding as is now.
Yes, I agree that it is needed, I just don't know if @guiltyparties has the time to gather a consensus on what the rules are, in a transparent way.
It would definitely help onboard Dapps or would at least prevent failed launches.
I pretty much knew what we were getting into when we launched @dbuzz, so I was prepared for the backlash from abuse fighters, but new investors and developers may not know a thing about the standards on HIVE!
If HiveWatchers has time to write a proposal for community funds then I think they should have more than enough time to lay out reasonable guidelines they seek to enforce. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to request, they've not made any progress in laying those clearly defined rules out. Instead we all have to wonder if we are going to fall in their sights or not...

What is it with hivewatchers nowadays? The bulk of the news I've heard about them is negative. They need to fix up tbh
Personally I think it's lack of oversight and no demands from the community to regulate them. At the very least we should demand they give clear guidelines so we can judge their performance. Preferably I'd like to opt out of their lists at a condenser level and see competition.
It's really disturbing and cantankerous for onboarding new users. I hope something gets to be done asap.

I would love Dan's comments on HiveWatchers. I know he was busy with Steem during my mother's situation so I didn't query him but would love to see his comments on this particular situation.

Where does the double monetized content come from? If they post on 3Speak where is the second copy coming from?
I'm just being presumptuous but I assume that Travelfeed requires users to submit a new post through their condenser for curation. It seems like they want a link within their specific field so they would have the OG 3speak video on chain plus the new Travelfeed post that contains an embed of the same video.
