Last year I had a client decide to create a holiday livestream right before and right after Christmas. It threw the idea of a relaxing holiday out the door. It was however an especially enlightening experience. I learned so much from the content the client created. Things that impacted my business this past year in a big way. So while at the time it was a frenzied holiday season, what came from that has changed the trajectory of my business and therefore my family.
This year I am having a much quieter holiday season. Client projects began winding down towards the end of November. This month I wrapped up a deliverable and am maintaining a weekly podcast for a client. So a much more relaxing experience. I'll admit I've been a bit lost without the constant work pressure. BUT, after a few weeks of aimless wandering, I've finally hit an epiphany: This is the time I'm always asking God for or wishing that I had. You know the, "One day when I have time..." type of moments. This is it. So, today I've approached the day with a new zest. Lots of those "somedays" are being put into the planning stages. All good things.
