Feminists and submitting to a man

Most of the feminists and female activists are quite passionate with what they do. Standing up for the rights of the woman and equality. But as a Christian, scripture requires the wife be submissive to the husband recognizing him as the head of the home. This means the woman has to respect and also obey him in a way. But when you bring up such an issue before a feminist or female activist, the atmosphere suddenly changes. It is literally tense and in their eyes you can almost read this is what we are fighting against.

Some feminists especially in going about their fight seem as if they see men as their enemy. They just don't want to consider or hear the mere mention of being submissive under the man. Actually, some of them in the cases I have seen almost assume the position of the man as the leader in their home. I totally understand if they frown at the idea of submitting and obeying the man because there have been so many cases of men taking advantage of this to treat women as garbage and abuse them.

Nevertheless, that does not mean all men are the same and should be treated or looked upon as such. Most of my young male acquaintances when we meet sometimes discuss the possibility of getting into a relationship with a feminist and nobody in the group wants to consider it. Based on things we have seen and the way some feminists act in their relationships, it is quite scary and looks like hell for the man. They are very sensitive, not submissive, and sometimes can be straight out disrespectful to their spouses.

Permit me to emphasize that this is all based on our observation and experiences with some of the feminists we have come across. This is not in anyway to say all feminists are like this but boy, some of them just take the whole feminism thing to a whole new level that it becomes very toxic to their relationships. And the funniest thing is some of them in deliberately refusing to submit to their husbands and show them the respect they deserve feel powerful and successful in their fight. They only realize how toxic their attitude has been when the men walk out the door.
