Pardon the dumb question, but does decentralized or end-to-end encryption withstand the dns censorship we are seeing? If you lose your domain name, then what?

Interesting! Two strikes against them, though:

It appears they are based in San Francisco
“Web browsers require an add-on to resolve these domain names”. This seems like another opportunity for browser-makers to censor.

Doesn’t Tor have something similar?

I believe Opera supports them natively. Yeah, Tor has the .onion domains.
